Hey guys - good to see another KoW 10mm game :) A couple questions - 1) Were the bat's supposed to be the death pack from the undead army list? 2) where did you get those beautiful buildings? :) Looking forward to the next one!
Yes. That was the best fit I could find of the fast, swarm nature. TBH this is a Warhammer Fantasy army crowbarred into KOW (a superior rule set!) The terrain is from 3DLayeredScenery, scaled to 10mm scale and printed on a resin printer
@@diceandeasygames2337 Makes sense re: the bats - I have some painted up and want to use them in KoW too so I'll probably do the same thing. :) Last question - where did you get those nifty unit cards from? :)
KoW in 10mm has a problem of missing units. There's no skeleton archers or non-spear warriors for Vampire Counts, for example. No decent undead catapult, either. Sure would be great if big 10mm stl producers like Forest Dragon wouldn't stop just at the Warmaster roster
Yeah there definitely are some gaps in both directions. What we usually do is find the closest fit from another army and as we largely play casual, it doesn’t cause too many issues
They’re home made and I’m in the process of making a bunch for a starter set I plan to release. So watch this space as I may figure a way to make the files available
We use 40x40 for all infantry, large and normal as the 40c20 bases match Warmaster then. I sell little movement tray adapters so you can use Warmaster stands without gluing anything
You know what, we have a few more armies in the works so we will get some templates sorted that you could copy paste into from Mantic’s website. Follow us on Social Media and you’ll see when I get around to it in the new year
We use 40x40 as a ‘regiment’ standard just to keep it easy as the minis are designed for Warmaster. It’s a rough conversion and it does make some units narrower or deeper than normal for KOW but at this scale the exact accuracy is less of an issue and it’s more about the overall battle
Those archers, putting in work. As did the Men-At-Arms. They did exactly what they were meant to: hold the enemy down. Never underestimate the worth of peasants.
Hi. This is 10mm kings of war using Warmaster intended models. Just launched the box set for playing this: www.rokminis.com/product-page/10mm-wargame-box-set-kings-of-war-and-warmaster
This is awesome I've been looking for some 10mm kings of war battle reports everywhere, these are fantastic, please keep them coming.
Thanks! Hoping to get a game in next week if all goes well
Wonderful battle report! Excellent camera work, beautiful table and miniatures. Really shows how well the game can work in 10mm. Love it!!
Thank you! It works perfectly and you cannot beat a ‘full scale’ wargame that fits on your coffee table!
really like how you have crammed as many minis as possible on each stand. creates much more of a feeling of really massive units.
Thanks! Yeah we are totally in love with the whole ‘army’ look of this scale and that big battle feel it gives!
Awesome! Just for the Thriller jacket 😂😂
He just had to! 😂😂
Really awesome.
Thanks! We got more stuff coming soon!
Enjoyed seeing the game, a lot different than the normal aos I watch. I hope to see more.
Thanks! Paul and I should be getting together this weekend for a new battle!

Paul made them in Adobe but you could do it in word. Even looked at using some MTG templates. They’re so handy to have!
Cool are inches just centimeters? And 6ft 182cm x 4ft 121cm ish board?
Yes exactly that. So it’s usually a. 6x4 board but scaling down I did a 72x48cm board. I may make a larger one for mega games coming up!
Great game guys. Who makes the miniatures? Where did you get the 12 sided damage dice holders?
rokminis.com for the minis 😉
I printed the holders from a file I found on Thingiverse

Hey can I ask where you got your army list cards they looked really cool?

Awesome battle report, where do you get the dice holder for the hits against the units from?
Rich 3D printed them from thingyverse. They are soooo useful.
What base sizes are you guys using for the standard 25mm and 20mm troops? Trying to scale down to 10mm but don't know what base size to use

Brets are amazing. Go Bretonnia!
Thanks. They did alright! 😉
Whats the source for those D12 holders?
They’re wound counters from Thingiverse:

The Men At Arms continue to amaze me as they just hold and hold!
Is this war master?
