Everything he said about Eid resonates with me. That’s why I have my own way of celebrating Eid, It’s a holiday, and we like to rest on that day. We basically only pray Eid Salat and spend the rest of the day for ourselves, with no stress.

Our condition is so sad that I laugh in despair rather than entertainment. 😔 Everything brother Hoblos said is so true. That was the truth even though my moms never made that dish. I feel like an idiot comparing myself to last ramadan and eid. Jazak Allah for the lecture. In sha Allah we all have a productive (in terms of ibadah) ramadan this year.
Salaams, some people are in awe of everything. When you finally arrive to a place you've always dreamed about going, you appreciate everything in front of you, the carpet, the pillars, the rocks, the lights, everything. You live in the moment and appreciate the experience in its entirety. And thats okay. People are allowed to show appreciation, its 2022 we record things to look back on to relive such a beautiful moment. Why discourage people to not appreciate their entire experience the way they want to. The feeling is overwhelming so its understandable. If you've been to the Kab'a multiple times, you're more focused on what you're doing, for first timers, everything is appreciated and celebrated. Let people enjoy their experience. Salaam.

I've been watch brothers videos and soaking in the wisdom within his words through the almighty ALLAH . I'm far from perfect on my deen, taking steps to understand day to day. Still a great work in progress. Don't allow others to sway you off your path, keep at it

I've witnessed food being thrown out at the end of an iftar and it's absolutely heartbreaking. Some forward thinking masajid are beginning to make arrangements to have food collected by organizations that feed the homeless and hungry rather than toss it out. May Allah (swt) Guide us and show us Mercy as only He can.
Read Dr Kashif Khan's articles on the internet to know Allah's real message with an open mind and ask him questions. He's there to explain and answer questions.
