Jennifer, thank you for featuring Premier Serenity Yarns in this very inspiring video. We are very grateful that you selected our yarns to touch the lives of these children and their families. Thank you to all your subscribers who make a blanket for one of these children.
Jennifer introduced me to Premier Yarns. She is an incredible designer, promoter and person. I'm a better person because Jennifer shares her talents and heart with us. Premier couldn't have picked a better person to be the face of Premier Yarns. If you have other reps I've never run across them and I watch a TON of crochet contributors. Jennifer is AMAZING! ❤❤
Seems like Jen needs more serenity candy yarn!
Thank you Premier for putting Serenity on sale to support the project 🧶💙
I purchased this yarn to make this blanket. Jennifer should be top of your list of people selling your products.
What a generous gift you are giving us!! For people wanting to make one for charity but unable to ship to Nancy, why not make one and donate it to a local charity?? The sentiment is still there and it would be a beautiful gift for any charity!! Thank you Jenn and everyone making one for any charity!!💖💖
My 2 y/o granddaughter has cancer...it's devastating. Fortunately she's handling it like a warrior and is almost done with chemo. I'm glad there are places like Boggy Creek to help ill little ones know they aren't alone
Prayers for your little one. My 2 year old granddaughter had cancer at age one, but she had her surgery back then and has been cancer free ever since, thank God. Many, many prayers for your little one as well. 🙏 ❤
@@virginiap.6270 Thank you so much! Glad your little one is doing well
Praying for you granddaughter.
@@gloriaellis46 thank you
Love the blanket and the tutorial for such a special cause! You rock! Thank you for doing this! I've notice though many comments from people saying they connot afford the shipping costs. You may want to mention an alternative to those who want to participate but can't afford to. Lynanne from Nina's Knots Crochet came up with the idea for people to send her a handful of granny squares and she would assemble the squares into blankets and deliver them to Nancy. She has been bombarded with granny squares and so far put together 10+ blankets for Boggy Creek. I think it is great gesture to those who want to participate but can't afford to.
I love the wind chimes. I love when the dogs come in and if they bark. I love seeing your family and hearing them in the background. That's what makes us friends even though we have never met. **Hugs**
Jennifer, hi. As a minister and avid fan I thought these blankets could possibly be blessed in prayer as is a prayer shawl. Just a prayer of good wishes and health, help, and comfort. Much love, Dayrha from KY
Thank You Jen for getting more folks aware of Boggy Creek. Thank you Premier for making such yummy yarn. And Thank you to all who are jumping in to make blankets for Boggy Creek. 🥰
I TOTALLY understand about trying to keep toxic relationships far from me. This is such a great message i found, hope it helps someone:
"Walk away from people who put you down. Walk away from fights that will never be resolved. Walk away from trying to please people who will never see your worth. The more you walk away from things that harm your soul, the healthier and happier you will be."
Thx for doing this blanket, Jen. The intro and how you got emotional shows how special this cause is to you. I too, could not imagine. 😔 And based on some of your viewers comments, we are blessed. I hope to make a couple of these and send em to Nancy and gift a sweet child with a colorful, cheerful blanket. First, I have a baby blanket to make for a little girl coming in November. Maybe I'll warm up with that! 😊👍🧶
You almost lost me on the foundation chain but I persevered. I’m 81, have crocheted and knitted since a child and you taught me something new today. Thanks. Will be doing this collaboration with y’all.
That's so awesome, Cecilia!!! Great job! 😊👍🧶
I shouted 'Peeee YOW!' with you and scared the life out of our two jack russells! Their faces!!😂🐶🐶
I think they thought I was having some kind of seizure and their ears went straight up!
🤣🤣
I freaking got it cinnamon stitches. I finally got it after watching it 3 times thank you so much.❤❤❤ I have never started a blanket like that. That's new to me, thank you so much.
Thank you on behalf of Nancy and the other podcasters, Lynette of Charmed Grammy and Billie the Crafty Floridian. We hope to double from last year donations.
We spent 6 weeks in the hospital with my son before he died. Blankets were so helpful. Washable is a must and fun kid colors are so nice to cheer up rooms.
Thank you for making a difference! Love you 😘
Any time!
That start of blanket has a LILO & STITCH VIBE!!!
You have a heart of gold Jennifer. Love your pattern. I don’t have serenity yarn but I found a worsted blue with matching variegated and it’s working up well. I needed 100 foundation singles with a 5.5 or I hook. You have done so much good with your channel - you have my respect and admiration. Thank you very much.
Its such a beautiful kids blanket! Thanks for adding to the Boggy Creek collection, people , patterns. Awesome!
Hi Jennifer, Just stopping in a couple days later to let you know Nancy got her Boggy Creek Blanket done and she is showing it on her channel. Can't wait to see yours done. A fan.
Watch my video today at 8 am and you will see mine as well. 😉
I love hearing your wind chimes!
Just received my yarn today! READY SET GOOOOO! Jennifer, you are the hare and I am the tortoise, slow and steady, hope to have it done in time for Boggy Creek Brigade to take it in January. Love love love the Candy Confetti!
Thank you for doing the boggy creek blanket with us!😊🎉😊
I love the sounds of your wind chimes. Its such a soothing sound. It gives a mental picture (for me) of trees swaying to a soft summer breeze.. Love the blanket idea.
Challenge accepted! I will be making as many as I can because this hits home. Thank you Jennifer for this and to Nancy for bringing it to light for the rest of us to help
You are so awesome 👏 to do this Jen! Because of you so many more precious children are going to feel loved in every stitch. Big hugs my sweet little cinnamon bun! ☺️💕🙌
I always think of little boys as I have 3 grandsons and 4 great grandsons!!! I think I will try to work up this blanket. This is so pretty. Will have to go through my yarn and see what I have to make it. Always love your tutorials 🤗 please just use the candy whatever ones you have, its amazing!!!!
I have those colors 😊
I knew you would
I accept the challenge! It would be fun if everyone posted their progress and completed blankets on your Facebook page ❤️
Thank you so much for doing this for the kids at Boggy Creek. Nancy, Billie, and I also appreciate it so much.
I love this blanket pattern. What a joy to make. Thank you. I sent one to Nancy. She should get it by next Wednesday.
Jen, thank you I will make one fir the Boggy Creek kids. I already made a blanket from your Lucas Blanket. I made it in neon shades. It was beautiful! ❤❤
Hi Jennifer, I watch your channel everyday for inspiration and friendship. I just ordered yarn from premier using your link for two Boggy Creek blankets in red with primary candy and "blue bird" with a blue/green candy. So Excited to do this with you. Katy
My dad wore a size 13 triple E shoe. Definitely boats! 😂
Hi Jenn, Thank you for this tutorial. I missed Boggy Creek for 2023; but am planning to do this for 2024.
Look at you Cinnabon, I was actually going to do your Jacobs Ladder Granny blanket as my second #BoogyBlanket! Well, I’ll add this to the equation as well😊 Happy crocheting 🧶
I have loads of #4 love this yarn so I will be making a longer chain and a few more rows
Just ordered the yarn for this. I’m super excited, much love for the kids. I was on a yarn buying ban until I saw this😊 just have to help out.
I love the blanket. I am already making squares for Nina's next knot's. I hope you have a lot of people making your blanket.😊
Boggy Creek blankets must be 35 to 40 wide and 40 to 50 long. Anything smaller or larger will go to the staff, not the kids. No wider than 40 inch, no longer than 50 inch. Bless you dear for your help.❤
Ps, i love the confetti wool! It's so fun and jolly xxx
Great idea. 🙂
We have something like that in New Zealand. It's called camp quality here.
Lovely colours for your blanket. The chunky candy does look a fun colour. 🙂🦄🌈
Hi Jennifer, Your blanket is awesome , beautiful colour ways that match and scream out for little kids. They will love uour choices of colour. And feel safe and snug in your blanket. Such a worthy cause to make them for Jennifer!. A peice of your heart will have gone into every stitch.great tutorial also!. Mandy united Kingdom 🇬🇧 xxx😊
I always think of little boys as I have 3 grandsons and 4 great grandsons!!! I think I will try to work up this blanket. This is so pretty. Will have to go through my yarn and see what I have to make it. Always love your tutorials 🤗
I love serenity yarn. I haven't yet met s Premiere yarn I haven't loved.
Jennifer excepting your challenge! I will be making a blue mixed blanket. I'm like you and think some times the boys get left out! Sincerely Janey from NC
Jen, this is beautiful. I am going to make a couple of blankets for Boggy Creek using your pattern 😊

Perfect timing! Im clearing out my yarn collections and this will be the perfect project !!
Just got my yarn delivered yesterday! I'm starting it now. I hope it helps someone. 😊
Thank you Jennifer for this tutorial, got my yarn ordered. I can’t wait to get started. I ordered the solid wine with the candy, I think that will be pretty. Thanks again, your awesome🙂
Great tutorial. Since I've never been able to complete a blanket, I'll have to skip the challenge.
I can hear the wind chimes and a fan, but i can't hear the clock 😅 I Love the sound of the wind chimes!

Good morning!
Thank you for sharing this blanket for Boggy Creek
Thanks Jennifer. Great blanket.
Jennifer I cannot wait to see and hear all about the body Creek blanket made with chunky yarn?❤ the Boggy blanket sounds amazing and I think any child that gets one of the blankets be very happy with it!
Thank you for the tutorial Jennifer!!☺️🧶
Thank you for this. I'm liking this blanket very much. I love no brainers when it comes to crochet as i work i.5 hrs a day & have husband and 4 dogs. You make my day. I bet Nancy will love this.
You are a good person be like to help people 😺❤
Just ordered from premier, hope they come soon , can’t wait to start!!
Jennifer, I'm excited to let you know, right now individual prices of the solids at least, are $3.19 each. I didn't look at the pattern or tweeds but they're on the same sale page.
YES, YES, ALL 4 STYLES ARE $3.19 EACH IF BOUGHT SEPARATELY. Especially cool for if someone wants to make multiple blankets to donate. ❤❤❤❤❤ Thank you❤
I am using your pattern to make 5" squares for Mad Mimi's Double Duck Dare (Quack, Quack) Challenge. Multiples of 3, plus 1.
I'm going to try to make a few blankets. Thank you so much, love it.
I think this is going to be my next blanket. Pretty I'm going to grab a couple more Caron Blossom Cakes color way Fleures and alternate with a lighter grey or medium grey
This is such a great idea. I’ll be making one. Thanks for the pattern and tutorial.
Hiiii! I love watching your videos. I'm new to crochet and thank you for making it easier. Annnnnnd your windchimes are beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!
I am very very inclined to do at least 2 of these beautiful blankets, but my challenge is how do I get them to Nancy when I'm finished? Living outside the USA makes shipping items like this very complicated. So sorry😞
You are doing a really kind thing, and I hope many other wonderful persons will join you.
Love your blanket colors and pattern and love your giving spirit😍💕
So pretty! I have 8 projects I’m committed to deadlines by first of Dec.
If I complete this blanket by the end of Dec., can I still send it in to Nancy in time?
I’m thinking the Goldenrod with the Denim Tweed? Looks like they will go together?
After raising 2 sons, I tend not to look at pinks/purples.😉
Thanks for this quick.& easy pattern!
I believe so.
That Blanket is Beautiful. Can you do a regular chain for this blanket and then do the pattern?
Yes
Add one more chain? So it's in sets of three?
Chain in multiple of 3, a then chain one more as a turning chain
What a great project! Thank you, Jen!
Thank you. This is such an easy pattern.
Beautiful yarns
Hi Jen, You are so right. I have been watching some of the Boggy Creek videos and noticed that there is a lack of gender neutral colors. I am making squares to send to Nina’s Knot Crochet in less girly colors. Now I am going to work on this blanket. I love the candy yarn!!!!! Thank you
Love this. Count me in.
Oh boy a crochet along!
Yay!
Beaytiful blanket
Afternoon jen
I accept this challenge! Another Camp Boggy Creek blanket from me. Thanks Jen!
Si so pretty 😍. Looks like flowers growing in a garden!
Loving this design 😊 had to pause to organise the yarn 😊🤣 wrks up really quickly, thank you Jennifer 😊
I am using a med dark purple to help use up a stash of variegated spun sugar
Good morning sunshine 🥤🧶
Good morning 🌻
Love it Jennifer ❤
Just ordered all my yarn and ready to make this pretty blanket! Thank you 😊.
❤❤❤I'm doing this❤❤❤❤❤much love to you.
Hey Sweetie when I glance at the blanket for some reason the colored row makes me think of Panzie flowers they come with two or three colors per flower, and I have always thought of them as happy flowers. Love ya Also your right it’s the perfect blanket for kids!!!❤
Good morning to all the buns ♥♥
Good morning
Just had a thought for people who only have 4 weight yarn, you can double it to make a 5! That way, it'll work up fast like yours, Jen! (If you said this later in your video, apologies. I'm halfway through the tutorial and didn't want to forget)😊👍🧶
I ordered the yarn today and will love to do the blanket project with you so I can mail it out when done.
Looks great Jennifer. I don't believe able to participate this year though. I will probably have to rewatch this video if I try to make this blanket as I've never started a blanket this way. I've heard of it though. Also, I already forgot what the chain number is (thought I heard multiple of 3 plus 1 but not sure). Thanks. This is a great thing to do.
Take care.
I ordered red and primary candy!
I love this and will make
I just started this blanket with / I don’t have chunky yarn so I’m using I love this yarn medium #4 - calls for a 5.5 but I made the foundation less chain with a size 6 and had 75 stitches to reach 32 inches
Love this pattern thank you
Love your Boggy Creek Blanket tutorial. I am going to try it soon. I love the Serenity Chunky. I made a blanket for granddaughter in her college colors last year. This is just me, but did you ever see the movie, The Legend of Boggy Creek. My maternal relatives are from Arkansas and can relate to the Boggy Creek community. Great idea and CAL.
Ordered and on board!
