I think what confuses people is that, You keep saying hit the BC button. You need to say "Hold the BC button Down", to reset it.

Works on every light except for the oil
Change. Says it’s resetting but does not reset. 2011 128i

maybe let the car run at idol for like 3 mins then check if the system says engine oil OK. if it shows its good then try the reset. thats what i did and it worked fine. 2013 x1 28is

I did this procedure , my car was showing front brake pads to be changed in 250 km , now its showing 40000 km but the thing is I’ve not changed the brake pads so how do i get back the old reading
