I tried most Al rehab fragrance oils and my vote goes to: 1) Cobra 2) Drakar 3) White Fall 4) Lord 5) Balkis 6) Crystal 7) Nebras 7) Rose 8) Red Rose 9) White Musk 10) Golden Sand 11) Al Sharquiah Thanks for the video.
Knew you'd like this as the Lapidus resemblance is very strong. It's a pretty decent frag in its own right though. Will definitely pick up the spray to add to the oil.
Col Hamilton Thanks Col! I regret not trying it earlier! I'm glad I did and yeah I only own Silver in the spray and that's not too good on lasting power..so I'll just stick to the oils I think 😊 thanks for watching! as always!
Thanks for the shout out again Matt! I actually waved at my TV when you mentioned me haha! A few people have actually talked about this on youtube, which is why I gave it a shot :) This is an awesome scent indeed dude, you nailed it with your review! was the blog you read called Pour Monsieur? I'm up to 25-30 Al Rehab scents now. I have Lord in the spray version too and it's good! I've also bought White Musk as a spray and have been using it as a room spray - I sprayed some in my bathroom 2 days ago and it's still noticeable in there after I've been out of the house all day! Good take man :)
Steven Sproat No problem Steven! you're too underrated buddy! gotta get you some subs! and thanks a lot man I appreciate it and yes it was that blog! I need to try so many Al-Rehabs. Two came in the post today and they're amazing! I've heard White Musk is nice! might give it a go especially with longevity like that 😉 thanks again lad!
Besides Choco Musc, Lord is one of the best creations of Al Rehab. I have owned it since its production. Lord smells like sharp eucalyptus, green, resinous and has a pungent and quite dirty undertone. I have both Kouros and Lapidus, and I have to say that Lord smells more like Lapidus, but it has similarities with the dirtyness of Kouros. I like Lord more than Lapidus, it smells more sophisticated to me, but for my taste Kouros is better than Lord because the note of honey in it is just really good mixed with aldehydes and civet. I think that vintage Kouros is one of the best fragrances of all time, but for the price, quality, uniqueness and performance, Lord is a highly recommanded fragrance. It smells sharp, green, a little freshness, it is quite deep because it has some resins, it has a little sweetness at the base, and to sum it up in how it smells, just imagine smelling eucalyptus and the dirtyness of Kouros. My rating for Lord is 8/10.
Lord smells like Ted Lapidus pour homme to me, Landos by Al-rehab is very similar to Lord and Lapidus, American Nights by Milton Lloyd is very similar to vintage Ted Lapidus pour homme although it's lasts around 7/8hrs compared to over 24hrs for the vintage. TLPH is a classic, 80s, bomb, stunning and underrated.
I already have Lapidus Pour Homme, should I get a bottle of Lord or Kouros? I just don't want a copy of a cologne I already have (lapidus)...if Lord smells too much like Lapidus then I'll pass it up but if it edges more towards Kouros then maybe it's worth the try.
Joe Luke Hmm I mean this similar to Lapidus, but it isn't exactly the same, but in all honesty maybe not? but for the price this scent has thr strength of Lapidus and Kouros for such a gem of a price!
fragrancematt. thanks for the quick response. I think I'll try Lord and give it to my father if I find it too similar to Lapidus since he loves the scent of Lapidus.
Joe, it does smell almost exactly like Lapidus I can barely tell the difference. I get nothing Kouros. Of course it could be different for you. But as Matt said, for the price it's a no brainer. The sillage and longevity on these oils are really good.
Mike Miller that's good to know. I actually just purchased it on eBay an hour before I read your response. my dad really digs the 80's powerhouse animalic scents so I'm going to send it to his house and I'll try it once it arrives. I just got Lapidus last weekend and I'm seriously enjoying it more every time I spray it on. took me 3 attempts before I purchased it because it was so polarizing each time. I've read somewhere that Lapidus is more reminiscent of "vintage Kouros" than the current formulation of Kouros. I can't speak for this, but I do what something a little more animalic than Lapidus...so I hope the current Kouros can fill that spot in my collection as the "skankiest/most masculine" cologne. Do you have any suggestions on frags that might be just as animalic as Kouros?
Yatagan is very animalic. It's in the same category of Kouros and Lapidus with people either hating it or loving it. I like it a lot. It's not a bad price either at about at $40. I hear vintage is better with more civet but the recent reform is excellent as well. Check it out www.fragrantica.com/perfume/Caron/Yatagan-4024.html
I'm pretty sure it's named after Michael Flatley. This is what he smells like after that crazy Lord of the dance routine 😁 I don't think it smells that extreme. It's pleasant and not that different from modern tabacco/honey scents. Just don't overapply.
I don't think it Smell's much like lapidus. There's only a few note's in lord . lapidus is a masterpiece and it's hard to deceminate all the note's . shouldn't really compare the two really . it's much fresher in the beginning and has a much better drydown , lapidus is far better . sultan only lasts around 4 hour's with most people , al rehab are watering down there fragrances recently , although lord is a strong one still. Ladies recoil in horror at the smell of lord.
To me Lord leans way more toward Lapidus Pour Homme than it does Kouros. In fact, I don't get anything in it that smells like Kouros, which is disappointing because I enjoy Kouros. I was expecting this amazing Lapidus-Kouros mix but all I get is 90% Lapidus. I like it, but not unique enough.

Diar Kqiku Thanks for your review! since you mentioned the green vibes you get I have to agree! 😊
Can you list the Al-Rehab fragrances that are close clones to other designer/niche fragrances?
Gucci rush -rasha
@@naomanali3258 really? How close?
70%
@@naomanali3258 I'm a guy. It shows it's the women's version of Rush that is apparently heavy on rose! I can't do rose in like 95% of fragrances
