Doom Eternal Max Settings, Ray Tracing 4K Gameplay / STRIX RTX 4090 / I9 14900KS

  • This video shows a few minutes of gameplay from Doom Eternal at 4K resolution using an RTX 4090 Strix GPU and an I9 14900KS. The CPU has the Asus Overclock profile active and hyperthreading disabled.
    My PC has the following specs:
    • CPU - Intel Core i9-14900KS
    P-cores at 6.3 GHz
    E-cores at 4.8 GHz
    • GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX RTX 4090 O24G GAMING ( 3 GHz OC. ) Driver Version: 555.99 WHQL
    • RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB White 48 GB DDR5 8800 MHz CL38 ( 2 sticks of 24 GB )
    • MOTHERBOARD: ASUS ROG MAXIMUS Z790 APEX ENCORE - BIOS 9909
    • POWER SUPPLY: ASUS ROG Strix 1000W Gold Aura Edition PSU ATX 3.0
    • MONITOR: ASUS PG34WCDM (34 inch / WOLED / G-SYNC compatible / 240Hz display)
    • CASE: Thermaltake Core P3 TG Pro
    • OPERATING SYSTEM: Windows 11 HOME
    • SSD 1: SAMSUNG 990 PRO, 1 TB SSD for the operating system.
    • SSD 2: SAMSUNG 870 QVO, 4 TB SSD for other programs

    Nice, the starting music on that level is crazy. I've always enjoyed the Doom titles. Some of the jumping stuff gets a little too crazy at times, but it's still fun either way.

      Thanks, Lou. It was a test also for me. Overclocking the CPU or the memory doesn't seem to increase the performance, everything seems to be the same compared to your video. The only increase that I see is in the power consumption and temperature. Maybe the fps low got better.
