La Roux was a musician introduced to me by a friend when I was a tween/teen who was very confused about what they are (similarly to what they said in this). Although the only musical talent I have is being able to drum out a rhythm on a wooden box and play a few tunes a recorder.... the way I've found to express myself is through art. It's been a real confidence boost to me to see someone as anxious as I am not letting her anxiety (and her difference from her sex) stop her ambitions. Cheers Elly for always being a star.
