yay for using gloves even just for practice 🙂def a good idea to get use to trying to be as sanitary as you can those are pretty standard old school tattoo designs so are everywhere and good ones to start with 🙂 straight lines will come with time, just like practicing with any art and its good you have someone you can ask question if needed
