If he wants to go, then go - Newcastle is a long-term project, while being hindered by the Red Cartel loving Premier League, will one day be number one. We need committed players. The fans have given him nothing but love and support, unlike what he experienced in Everton. So I feel he's acting rather entitled, if the theories of his discontent are true. As long as we get over £100M+, then off ya pop, sonna. No one is bigger than the badge.
Evening Chronicle, home of the phrase "he's had his head turned" which has been used across the decades to malign any player who left to improve their prospects of winning anything. The club would be happy to sell him at the right price. In August, Eddie Howe spoke about the club's ambitions: he talked of the 'dream' of success remaining but suggested 10 years as a timescale. What is the lad meant to think? He's ambitious, in truth, more ambitious than the club seems to be, given the lack of summer signings. I wish him well wherever he plays.
I think people underestimate the effect on the squad of selling Minteh and - especially - Anderson, who was good mates with Gordon. This squad has been built on the principle of “ join us and we’re going for the Champion league” and Amanda and Eddie fostered a strong team ethic. Eales unsettled a number of players in January with his ill judged comments about selling our best players, but seeing those two go must have made players like Gordon - especially with the rumours going round - feel that under Eales and now Mitchell they were simply commodities to be traded. That is bound to affect moral and ultimately team performance.
@@michaelgreen1577 I very much agree with you. It unsettled players - and Eddie - at the time and also, in retrospect, signalled a major change in direction. The points we lost as a result of that cost us a place in Europe. I also think that strategy is unnecessary and completely wrong for a club with the aspirations we had, certainly at that time.
100% I want my squad to be motivated by football not by the size of the wage packet. He's had one good season and now appears to be in a strop. So we cluck money at it. No thanks. That's weak management
Eddie for a start needs to start playing his best players and playing people in there correct positions. The players look bored, disheartened and fed up
besides getting the team back to our unity and playing together again as the team spirit seems to be gone but we need a good no.6 a proper right winger and another top striker to replace sick note Wilson
You say it’s a good thing that EH has a full week to sort out the issues that we have at the minute but he’s had full weeks since the start of the season and it’s getting worse…
…well for starters, you don’t try to sell him (because management can’t do their maths) and make him feel disposable. (Especially when he bust a gut for the club last season)
Build the team around Tonali and make him skipper. I'm not worried about City coming in for Bruno to replace Rodri but I am concerned they'll come in for Sandro. My team for Saturday - 4 -2-1-2-1 Pope Tino Schar Kelly Hall Longstaff Joelinton Sandro (C) Murphy Barnes Isak Width from the overlapping full backs. Two holding midfielders - who must be ordered to stay there. Tonali with a free role between defence and the forwards. Murphy and Barnes tucked in behind Isak and pressing their double pivot. No Rodri and possibly no KDB. HWTL!
Hold on, you get a new deal by playing out of your skin consistently nor by going in a huff and downing tools...should've seen what he was like at Everton
These guys need to stop gassing Gordon. He is good but he isn’t that guy, not yet at least. Isak is much better, but I don’t hear his name brought up nearly as much. We get it Gordon is an English guy…so is Harry Kane and look at how that worked out. Make him earn segments on your shows and publications.

Since Eales said that I think the club has been in decline

I'll be going to SJP next Tuesday for the Wimbledon game!
He’s got to earn it!

Would Eddie have the nerve to drop Bruno if he continues to have poor games,I hope he would,if not a sign of weakness IMO
I've seen/read (elsewhere obviously) that he's homesick. Anything in that, or just more pap?

If form is dependent on paying him more then get rid
Spotlight on players body language is gossip journalism. I've watched 33 minutes and there is no technical football analysis or insight.

The kid has barely had a break to be fair. Needs to rest
His confidence must be low after Southgates mismanagement
@@TheJDUBMedia Don't think lack of confidence exists in Gordon
If his head has been turned
Get rid. However, I suspect it is players being over played.
Gordon is the left wing Maybe he is unhappy on the right alos think he pissed off about the liverpool thing
