I have been trying to play anomaly but for some reason when i exit the game all of my save files get deleted is the a fix to this?
@@hugachug2504 im thinking something unzipped incorrectly or is set up wrong, i think a complete reinstall/reset of the files might fix it. you may also have done the MO2 things wrong.

Even though I know mercenaries are friendly towards bandits, every time I do a merc playthrough I would still just shoot every bandit in sight. Part being I despise them as a faction and, since they're bandits, they might very well be dead under the hands of other factions. I'm just speeding up the process. Professionals have standards.

This is what happens when you dont play on your save for some days, I totally remember doing contracts for they r bandit leader but for some reason decided to have a brain fart when recording this and completely forgot

@@CusterPlays yeah, agreed i play mercenaries myself and the only thing i don't like is that they are friendly with bandits.

@@CusterPlays I think there is an addon that makes mercs enemies with bandits by default and also makes mercs friendly with loners. Name of the addon was fixed merc relations or something like that.

It seems the stealth aspect seem to work well in your video compared to others Ive seen. Is it the ghillie suit or do you also use a mod that makes stealth work in terms of foliage cover etc?

As far as I'm aware the foliage cover is a fundamental issue with the engine, so far noone has been able to get foliage to properly obscure enemy sight.
You also have to enable stealth kills by gunshot and enable stealth gunshot kills don't require headshots for the best experience.
a mod prevents enemies from spotting you through foliage entirely as long as your body isnt showing past the object box.

dont know the name but if you have gamma and the mod compiler you can use its search funktion to find the mod by typing foliage.

I wondering your stealth mod settings,because every time i shoot with a silenced gun everybody finds out where i am
Change the noise detection until it works
For some reason their are unused ai dection features that the mod doesnt use(is actor sleeping, is it raining/storm ect ect) npcs even have 2 sounds detections for guns sounds, silenced guns and even hearing a bullet ricochet. The only reason i even know this is because dead air uses all these features. I just copied them and modified it to my liking and it works amazing.

@@zdenekpecha3662 Yep! When I get the chance ill upload the stalker.ltx file for ya, just keep in mind I didnt make a dtlx version so other mods that effect stalkers ai may conflict with it.
edit: honestly the only reason i dont have a dtlx version is lazyness lol.
@@CusterPlays Is bigger or smaller setting better? Cause I cannot figure this out. I set things high and instantly spotted a mile away. Set things low and still spotted a mile away. I am just so confused on what to do.

The killing of Bandits as a Merc was completely fine in my book! I personally play with a mod that more or less changes the Faction relations a WEE bit according to Lore & Logic anyway.
Like... I GET why Loners & Mercs could be enemies base game Lorewise, but it's still kinda silly for me. Being neutral with each other makes a lot more sense since Loners would PROBABLY be MUCH better customers than the bloody Bandits who are Poor, Starving & SOOOOO.... horrendously disorganized by comparison to everybody else.
Mercs have done shit sure... the attack on Rookie Village in SOC is the prime example I've seen folks bring up. But that's just ONE group of Mercs. That doesn't really represent the entire Faction as a a whole does it? So yeah... Mercs neutral to Loners. Neither Friend nor Enemy unless paid to be otherwise!

Hey Custer, new visitor of your channel here and I recently got back to EFP again, so I'm just wondering about the ghillie suit you're wearing, does it really make you harder to spot by the NPCs? Because you know, stealth is always kinda broken in Stalker but it seems like the ghillie suit really did its job to conceal you in tall grasses and bushes, so I'm curious to see if the it would also work for my type of stealth playstyle as well as yours did.

Stealth is indeed kinda broken but yeah, it makes it harder to get spotted. They may know your general direction but will take longer to shoot

Would love an updated graphics guide specifically set up for use with EFP 3.0, I tried to combine your expedition graphics guide with EFP, but it looks nowhere near as good as this.
Did you find out how to make it look like in the video?
Beautiful, but, unfortunately, camouflage with such a suit is not implemented almost anywhere, I almost never met add-ons where the camouflage effect really worked.
It does work quite a lot but you might need to change some parameters

Looks like the escape from pripyat modpack to me. Look it up on yt. The modpack devs also have a discord with links and install instructions.

Looks like custer just uses 2d Shader scopes, tacticool scopes maybe/BaS reticles extravaganza, and cover weapon compression

How do you manage to have those graphics and textures? When I download it with the supposed mod it look like it had the graphics and textures of the original game. It look horrible.

That FOV is a bit high but to each their own
pro tip for anyone who wants more of a stealth approach in Stalker Anomaly vanilla or unmodded go to settings and increase grass density and size since it does affect how both mutant and human AI see each other severly limiting their sightlines. The bad thing is that it will also noticably tank your FPS too so if you got a old 2016's PC like me then stealth gameplay is just not avaible.

Density tanks, size doesn't so it's a matter of finding a balance between those two.

It happens to some people and there is a mod to fix that in mod organizer 2, fix stuttering I think it was called

Stalker ANOMALY is a monumental effort, BUT it is a bit boring with small amounts of A-Life, making levels with little to do. The original games were much more fun.
Wdym? A-Life is fully customizable in anomaly, you can just turn it up for humans and mutants with a slider ._.

They should already make the enemy a.i reckognize flashlights. Would make night games much differend. You will never use flashlights in real life battle situation at night. You would be a target practise

Only just started watching about 1 week ago and watched a lot of ghost recon breakpoint content but then vids are from about 7months that ago or 1 year ago and can you upload more and if you are can you do a vid on you skell credits and all stuff you have because you said you have over 1000 hours in the game so I curious how much you have completed and you player stats?😄
He doesn't have much more than an average player, even though he has 1400+ hours in the game. You might think why that is, but taking out bases doesn't actually give you much. He didn't complete the main story nor the side missions, simply because he found them boring. All and all, his stats wouldn't make for a good video at all.

What sniper is that? Also what are the most common/best snipers for long range stealth?
That is the Remington 700 with an irreversible modification of 12 bullets mag and side scope, pretty sure that's from BAS mod. I just noticed because right now on my play I considered using it along with an assault rifle but wasn't sure to either pick this or the L96A2. I'm definitely using the R700 after this, that's for sure.
And for snipers or DMRs, I'd go for this one (Remington 700) or L96A2 if you're into NATO like weapons or SVD or SVU if you're into Varsovian pact weapons. And if you want something of a battle rifle for long combat, you can try the NATO M14 or the Varsovian pact SKS.

Ive been using efp but the enemies dont die instantly like this, I notice it is delayed sometimes. Why is that?
i think EFP uses a mod called "Death Animations" that means the enemies don't immediately fall over when they die
