With the removal of screen autism like symptoms are fading. But, my child developed a tendency to forget a skill suddenly for a few days ex: He'd suddenly forget colors or won't be able to point at a particular object. His doctor says this is because of habit of watching videos for a few days and then changing them.
How can I overcome this? He has developed this tendency much before autism symptoms appeared. In fact, he forgot some command following as soon as the phone exposure started. However, at that time we were unaware that this was happening because of phone. Physician gave him vitamin supplements.
Then finally when symptoms appeared we took him to a neurologist. He told us phone caused it.
Ever since screen removal symptoms are fading and he is communicating more.

We stopped screen time before two months and he started to going to school. He is taking occupational therapy and they will start speech therapy soon. His eye contact was improved and his behaviour was changed a little bit like walking outside by holding hands and exploring outside. Like you said he knows Abcd , rhymes and all the things in IQ. Stills he is not responding a lot. Will he start speaking soon? Could you please tell me?

My baby boy is 1yr 10 months old, he is into more screen time and having no eye contact, no name calling response, bye bye solla mattan, but ethu yellamae edhuku munadi pannitu irundhan, we have took him to developmental paediatric and done the assessment , they concluded there is no autism instead he is having speech and development delay, and advised to give him a speech therapy,
Now stopped screen time completely, he is started learning new things now. Please help me to give him a speech therapy mam.

Hi mam my son is also having this problem i stopped all gadgets and tv to him for past 3 months his language and speech is improved well, he is having good eye contact respond to name and commands, but now he has habit of looking his in eye in corner not all times but some times how to overcome it he is 2.5 months old

Hi madam, My son is also affected by this and for the past 3 months we didn't show him any screens.. Now he is responding good, but we think he is not responding meaningfully.. Like for example - to me he says " Amma thani thanga" Even to my mom he says the same, every time we have to say who is this and then frame the sentence then he will say " patti thanni thanga"
But for the past 1 month he is showing some weird behaviors like tapping anything on the floor he likes that sound it seems.. when we distract he leaves that but once he is not occupied with anything he does the same

I gave mobile to watch videos to my son from his 8 months old, I was working in work from home and taking care of him alone.
My son 2.2 year old now.
Due to screen time my son doesn't answer name call, no eye contact, some times closes ears, repeats words which are not contexual like ABC till Z, wow, Oh no, answer me, wee, mine, 1-10, rhymes etc from the videos he watched.
Now 2weeks back,
I have totally stopped screen time.. He is not adamant about phone and he doesn't ask for it... Also I have started introducing many noun and action words from past week.. I can see improvement in listening..
Also I have started playing with bubbles, cars and ball as a habbit everyday for few hours...
Also, we have started OT and speech therapy last week.
Please let me know if his symptoms can be reversed.. And will he speak????
