I wish it still was. My family's from Atlanta, GA and Nashville, TN, so her accent here sounds like home. Embrace your southern-ness, Hayley! EMBRACE IT!
I was about to say the same thing! Her accent here is pretty prevalent...it's funny because she's said that she used to hate her deep, thick southern drawl...Now, she barely has it at all!
I never realized how hard singing is until I tried Karaoke one single time. Could barely make it through 2 minuets. I have a new appreciation for singers now.
***** Damn I wrote that in May.I've met her 2 more times since then.As much as I wanna keep it a secret, people keep asking. So I guess I'll tell ya. Idk where you live or how many times you've seen them live. But basically this works best at festivals where there are not many paramore fans & many artists performing. Right after they perform, leave the venue, ask as many security guards where the artists leave. Some don't know, some won't tell you & some are nice & will tell you. When you find out, go hangout in that area but act cool. If they know you are waiting for an artist they may kick you out.
***** Taylor was actually just in the venue towards the back. Met some Paramore fans that only met Taylor & they thought it was so cool I met Hayley too. Like all I did was follow Taylor!!! So if you see one, they'll most likely lead to the rest of the pack ahha
I love all things Hayley...I love the young, more innocent version of her and the more mature grown up version...But I have to say, her Southern accent here is adorable! I know she's said that she hated it, but I'm totally loving it in this interview...definitely shows some charm and innocence :)
I am not a fan of Paramore but she's a good singer and a nice person, and I laughed when she said her voice teacher made her discover she "had no head voice". I think all of us taking vocal lessons discover that at some point, that we are trying to go so high but we are just shouting. I hope I can sing like her one day :-)
Forever Gracie don't compare yourself to her!! If you want to learn how to sing you absolutely can do that!! Doesn't matter how old you are and you're still so young!!! Start now and don't look back. Don't feel bad about not starting sooner! Trust me you can 100% start singing now. I just started lessons when I was 18! And I'm 19 now, about to be 20. Age doesn't matter. Please if you wanna learn how to sing, see someone and let them teach you! It truly is just about the way you position your body and how you breathe. Anyone can learn. You deserve to sing if that's what you wanna do!
I've been doing the Singing Success method now for over a week and already I'm noticing a big difference in the way I sound! I can't wait to keep progressing!! Thanks Brett!
Hayley es la Mejor! amo su voz, su registro, el poder con el que canta y el corazón que le pone a todas sus letras. su poder en el escenario y gran carisma! hayley
I said it in response to the quote. Since they put it with the vid, I assumed that she was that age in the interview. I'm a huge fan, but I can never honestly keep up with her hair and say exactly which times she had it. She changes it so often, lol. So yeah, I think I was just misunderstood. Is she now 20 or 21? I know this isn't recent.
Her accent was so thick it's adorable 😭

It's so adorable!
Wow you can really hear her Southern accent here! You can't hear it that much anymore now that she's 25.
I was about to say the same thing! Her accent here is pretty prevalent...it's funny because she's said that she used to hate her deep, thick southern drawl...Now, she barely has it at all!
I know right, about how she said she doesn't like it! I know Iove that you can hear it still sometimes.
(On an interview) On her earlier days, she used to say AWESOME (Uh-sem), in to Ahw-sum. XD
Yea I know right!!! I needa find a video where she says it.
Her voice always gives me chills. She's so amazing.

I never realized how hard singing is until I tried Karaoke one single time. Could barely make it through 2 minuets. I have a new appreciation for singers now.

Trust me, this is not an uncommon question to still be asking in your 30s lol.

I actually use Singing Success also, and it really does help you in as little as a few weeks, maybe even days depending on the person! c:
@jerichasmith Okay thank you, I hope to sing like her some day
I have strain in my voice, i cannot go high
it's not the same anymore
Different technique, still a very proficient singer.
