Ah yes, to be back on the Tube! After a much needed two month break of treating my brain to learning more about lighting, photography, filming, a new camera, and so much more (trust me, it doesn't SOUND like a break, but I genuinely love to learn, and my brain needed some educated rest), we come back to RUclips asking ourselves, what if Ariel were created in a Tim Burton style? I am so happy to be back to doing makeup again, and have so many ideas both in line with what my channel mainly is, and also going just into more info videos in the future such as skin care and etc (I AM licensed in esthetics after all!). Anywho, I have missed you guys, and thank you so much for your patience as I play around with new videos, ideas, lighting, and more! Let the creativity FLOW! @@PeterPanCatMan I am still using it for some things, so for now I am hanging on to it! Maybe in the future! I would REALLY like to work with a company to do a brand new set up giveaway. I just worked with a company last year on giving away ring lights on my Twitch channel! I want to bring that to youtube also. Hopefully soon :)

Fun fact: Your brain makes you do that naturally. (Unless you have a personality disorder) it shows empathy. We subconsciously mirror the facial expressions of the person we are looking at to connect to them. Yay for being a social species!

Also preferably foundation that wont make my bank account cry would be nice as it always seems like youtubers promote £40 foundations and as someone who can barely afford a bus ticket for the week, it's not truly a reality
Im the last person in the universe you should listen to for this stuff, but I got this tip from someone who actually understands makeup
Try mixing powdered foundation with a little bit of water

Could you also talk about the difference between using different foundation brushes /application methods?
Elf or Wet and Wild have good foundations for beginners! Don't use your fingers! Use a blending sponge or a foundation brush! These also don't have to be expensive if you're just starting out! I'd recommend Elf's face sponge.
Start with a little foundation on the back of your hand and dip your blending tool in it before applying it to your face little by little! Circle motions with a brush, dab with a wetted sponge. It just takes practice!

Hey Lex, do you have any tips on covering up eyebrows for face painting? I always struggle with it (I have pretty bushy brows), and yours always turn out perfect!

Repeat ×3000
I will be doing a more in depth video on techniques in the future! It is definitely trickier with thicker brows, but overall its still the same process, just repeating layers of glue. You can also use a q-tip and a little bit of water to smooth out the edges as you build up so you dont end up with a lump of glue (been there, done that, even on my thin and fine brows)
I really recommend any video of Trixie Mattel (a drag queen) doing her makeup if you want your brows to truly disappear. She has her own channel here on YT and she's featured on many others.

@@MadeYewLook I've tried the water method, still didn't help :( No matter what I do, the concealer just creases between my brow hairs no matter how many layers of glue I've caked on! After a lot tries I've just lost hope.

She has done a lot for representation of her minority group which is still severely discriminated against to this day. They are now making a live action version in which they have striped her of her minority group

I'm obsessed with this look!! The white contacts definitely add to the aesthetic in a way the Tim Burton films could not, and the gradient of the wig goes very well with everything. The whole look is so well executed and on point!
