I consider consistancy to be one of the measuring factor. If I put out an episode a week, that's my success. Double that when I hear someone reference something that they have learnt in our show. It is an awesome feeling. Awesome video as ever. You are a Jedi Knight of podcasting!
I'm going to pin your comment because I think people need to see what success looks like at this point. I do realize that some people will want to know what success will look like from a monetary aspect, but that is down the road and I do have a plan for that. For now, I just want them to be good. Hey Shanman. Super helpful tips in the video! Taking the advice you gave, but doing it in more of a ladder format for my goals in regards to Almost Heroic. I wanted us to reach 1000 downloads by March (nailed it) and now the new goal is to hit 2000 downloads by mid April. Got a question for you that might make a good video: How do you go about trying to become a guest on another podcast and trying to get guests on your own? Any tips, tricks, or groups you know of that do this?
So great to hear, Patrick! I have no doubt that you will reach that goal if you are staying consistent! If you don't reach 2000, I'm sure you'll come really close. I like how you are measuring your success because that's the way to do it. I'm reading a book right now that talks about the "small wins". Those small wins are key to success in just about anything.
