RAVENS - Author Robert Beatty reading Willa of Dark Hollow

I created this particular video mostly so that you could hear the language of the ravens, which I find very cool. They're super smart birds. INTRO TO THIS SCENE: Willa is a Faeran woodwitch who has many powers related to the forest in which she lives. She also speaks the ancient Faeran language, which all the animals of the forest instinctively understand. And she, in turn, can understand the language of the various animals, including the wolves, the bears, the ravens, the otters, and many others. In one particular scene, Willa has lost track of her Faeran clan, so she asks the ravens if they have seen them. In the paragraph I'm reading here, the ravens are deciding how to respond to her.
