The thing I find most refreshing about you is that you were so all in on the beauty guru/influencer life, one of the first to start a business through your success and just paved the way for so many RUclipsrs, yet you were able to take a step back and assess your own happiness and make a complete 180 and reroute your life. I think so many RUclipsrs linger and make content they’re not excited about or invested in because they can’t see the path to shifting away from it, and I think it’s really admirable how you did it. Also I showed my friend your college at 26 video. She’s 29 and thinking about college and I’ve been telling her I think it’s so great to go when you’re a bit older because you’re more invested in it and you’ve taken the time to consider if it’s actually what you wanted, vs so many people who go fresh out of high school just because it’s expected of them and they take it for granted. Blair! As a Google gal myself I feel you on the tech neck. As a preventative measure a few years ago once I started noticing some unwanted lines, I went into many rabbit holes. I can say now, and I know you're not looking for a recommendation, but Spa Sciences has their own micro "nano" needle (I swear the Nano needles don't hurt, like you can put it over your lips and it doesn't sting, etc.) that goes with their microneedling kit and I have made that as part of my beauty routine on a weekly to week and a half basis and it has been a game changer. It's affordable and more effective than anything else I've tried. If anything, I spend some coin on the serum that I use beforehand so the nano-needle can help it submerge. It's not like a microneedling treatment at a salon, but with proper and mild regular use (not being wild with the settings), it sure does help.
I am definitely looking for recommendations and haven't heard of that! is spa sciences where you get the serum and device from? I would love to try it!

It's called the "Sora" on their site and it comes with 1 "Nano" needle attachment so I go ahead and order the additional "Nano" cartridges and it comes out to less than $100. My friend uses the same pen but with the actual "Micro" needle attachments for acne scars on her face (since those are deeper) since the pen is adjustable (though I'm super cautious). I splurged on a hyaluronic serum from my derm and then later got the Peach and Lily copper peptide serum. You could totally customize it to your skin goals. It's been a little over two years and now it's simply maintenance. Thank you for sharing your morning routine!

@@juicystar07 You’re welcome! ☺️ 💕 It was very gradual hence why it took me a while to figure it out but it was the more hydrating milky cleanser I added for my 2nd cleanse (now just gone back to my go-to cleanser but twice) and my new moisturiser for my t-zone. My go-to from Avène was discontinued and I’ve been struggling to find a replacement. As I was on accutane, my skin is combination/dry now but still very much acne prone. So I’m playing the game of finding a moisturiser hydrating enough to sink deep into the skin (and which doesn’t just sit greasily on the surface) but without overwhelming said skin and congesting it into spots. 🙄 And all acne targeted moisturisers tend to be too drying and mattifying for how dry my skin is now 🤦♀️

Blair! As a Google gal myself I feel you on the tech neck. As a preventative measure a few years ago once I started noticing some unwanted lines, I went into many rabbit holes. I can say now, and I know you're not looking for a recommendation, but Spa Sciences has their own micro "nano" needle (I swear the Nano needles don't hurt, like you can put it over your lips and it doesn't sting, etc.) that goes with their microneedling kit and I have made that as part of my beauty routine on a weekly to week and a half basis and it has been a game changer. It's affordable and more effective than anything else I've tried. If anything, I spend some coin on the serum that I use beforehand so the nano-needle can help it submerge. It's not like a microneedling treatment at a salon, but with proper and mild regular use (not being wild with the settings), it sure does help.
I am definitely looking for recommendations and haven't heard of that! is spa sciences where you get the serum and device from? I would love to try it!

It's called the "Sora" on their site and it comes with 1 "Nano" needle attachment so I go ahead and order the additional "Nano" cartridges and it comes out to less than $100. My friend uses the same pen but with the actual "Micro" needle attachments for acne scars on her face (since those are deeper) since the pen is adjustable (though I'm super cautious). I splurged on a hyaluronic serum from my derm and then later got the Peach and Lily copper peptide serum. You could totally customize it to your skin goals. It's been a little over two years and now it's simply maintenance. Thank you for sharing your morning routine!

I'm sure I'll do something eventually, and I like the idea of lip fillers but am terrified of the migration. I also like the way it can look from the front (if you don't go overboard) but I don't like the side projection it gives

Wow, that concealer really is effortless!!! 😱👏☺ I was breaking out really badly for the last couple of months (I'm 32 and thought acne would be over for me after 20 years...but nope! 😭), but I have finally isolated the 2 culprits and I'm also just dealing with the leftover marks but no active breakout, yay for us!!! 🥳🤞

It was very gradual hence why it took me a while to figure it out but it was the more hydrating milky cleanser I added for my 2nd cleanse (now just gone back to my go-to cleanser but twice) and my new moisturiser for my t-zone. My go-to from Avène was discontinued and I’ve been struggling to find a replacement. As I was on accutane, my skin is combination/dry now but still very much acne prone.
So I’m playing the game of finding a moisturiser hydrating enough to sink deep into the skin (and which doesn’t just sit greasily on the surface) but without overwhelming said skin and congesting it into spots. 🙄 And all acne targeted moisturisers tend to be too drying and mattifying for how dry my skin is now 🤦♀️
