Your eco died papers are stunning. It is just spring for me now so I hope to try some of the Ohio plant life soon. If I have any luck at all I will try autumn leaves as well. I am lucky enough to have maple trees that develop the most beautiful color. Thanks for sharing your adventure. You always do such a wonderful job with your videos. I love watching so muck
Your enthusiasm is so wonderful and contagious. These are really beautiful. I will look forward to seeing your next video. Thank goodness sooooooo much.

congrads to the winner !! Nina your papers are beautiful , When I tryed them my photo copy papers were tearing to and not only that they turned gray and I wasnt crazy about that look , I do have to give it another go , Thanks for shareing Big Big Hug !!!
Forgot to say how much I really enjoy your tutorials. You are a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much for being so generous with your time and talent! I have been watching you for a year, but never commented before today.
Nina, these are absolutely beautiful. Yours have turned out so much better than mine but, I'm going to try one more time before winter. We have snow forecasted for tomorrow but, it'll warm back up for a few days before winter officially sets in. I have a bucket of gathered leaves, flowers, soaking in water so, as soon as it's warm enough, I'll start my boiling. Congrats to the lucky winner.
I want to live in the world of these Eco papers....so stunningly beautiful. You have been so inspriational. I now have an art journal...me..and I’m not an artist but I’m learning to give myself permission to create without judgement. I will watch the videos on eco dyeing and take some notes for my next project. Thank you for your clear, quality videos and for your generosity with your talent.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment Kathleen. I am not an artist either, but I absolutely love creating and that is what’s important. The eco dyeing process is fascinating isn’t it, and I can’t wait for the spring to arrive so I can try it again. Happy creating in your new journal 💕
Oh wowee..... They are stunning Nina.... I really love the flowers and those big round leaves.... There just isn't enough time in the day to do everything..... Lucky Laura receiving these lovely goodies...😃😃😃
Nina I am IN LOVE With your Eco Paper stunning every single one of them. All my foliage Is god now so it will be spring before I do it. I would Copy & Frame every single one. Love the file folder & Journal, Congratulations Laura. enjoy.
Hello Nina, I just started eco printing, thanks to you and one other Eco Printing video. I just left a selection of my 1st and second batch of eco printing at a local printers I'm picking up the results on Tuesday. Now I just need to know where you got the things you wind the cord around from? I dunno what they're called. Oh and where did you get the cord from? Loved this video - I've watched it 3 times so far!
Hello Fran. Isn’t Eco Printing fun! I used cheap chopping boards to contain the papers which I got from the £1 shop. The string is just regular stationery string which I think I got in the supermarket. I hope that helps. I bet you can’t wait until Tuesday 💕
@@NinaRibenaMixedMedia I've been drooling over these prints, they're so good! I use a single piece of A5 at either end of my stack of folded A4 sheets, and one had an excellent leaf print on it. It faded as it dried but still nice. So I asked if they could blow that up to A3 as well. They were dubious, said detail could be lost, but could try it. Wow! It came up the best of all! They must have darkened it and bosted the contrast cos it looked better than the original! So so happy! Now I'm just tryjng to find out how to make a sturdy protective cover for the journal I'll cover with these prints. (Daughter, Xmas. Keeps journals in her bag - they get battered.)
What gorgeous prints. I can hardly wait til spring to start dyeing again. And I too have a hard time parting with my prints. Mine aren't even close to being as gorgeous as yours. But I did find peony leaves and grape leaves turn out wonderful.
Oh wow---you have come up with the best recipe--thank you for sharing it! Great results, Ms. Nina! Love the concertina envelopes. As far as the ink problem, you may check on the HP instant ink program--we have it in the States, you pay a small monthly fee for ink according to the amount of pages you print up. And when you are close to being out of ink, you are mailed another cartridge, whether it be color or black and white. I have used it for about 6 months, so far and I am very satisfied with the program.
It's also great getting the autumn leaf colours. I did it last year like you on copy paper and the chestnut leaves did best. The photocopy paper of thicker quality didn't break up so easily. Hugs Joy
great result with the eco dying Nina...as soon as I saw the ColorCopy ones I was saying "journal cover"...with such a lovely cover I would put elastic string thru eyelets instead of sewing in the signature so they can refill it.
Brilliant video - thank you Nina for sharing so generously. Printing wise I have changed to HP envy with their instant ink program 100 pages a month for £3.49 but their opening offer gives you 3 months free and I think mine was 300 pages a month in this time - it is so much cheaper than keep buying ink
OMG Nina, everything is stunningly beautifully gorgeous! Congrates to the very lucky winner!.... You need to get producing more of your folders/ books/ journals and start selling them!!! X
These are amazing Nina, I am trying the vinegar and alum in spray bottles with an iron.. I would love a heat press... too as I can't use an oven as I don't have the room... I live in my van mostly, and mom doesn't have an oven any more. This is so addictive! When I do some I will scan them too..didn't think of doing that, so thanks for the inspiration.
I have done the eco dying several times on my copy paper. I dont fold mine till I am ready to use them. So I am dying them as a whole sheet unfolded (8.5 x 11) These you did really are beautiful so I will try your alum and vinegar and see how it does for me. Thank you so much !!
Oh Nina!!! These are really beautiful. You are very inspirational. I love that you do art that is much more nature and organic! I am learning a lot and will be viewing your older videos as well. Thank you so much for being so generous with your talent! God Bless! Lauren
Thanks so much for your lovely comment Lauren. My art is usually bold, bright and colourful, but I have enjoyed Eco Dyeing. I also shared a couple of videos last year showing how to instantly dry and press flowers. Here are the links: Dried Flowers In Minutes ruclips.net/video/u9Ig0X7Sp3U/видео.html How To Use Your Dried Flowers ruclips.net/video/RqVwZWxuVPo/видео.html
Thank you for your response. I played around with Alcohol inks from a previous video of your and just love it. I ended up making cards from them and had a great time with it. I am on a journey to try and find my style. I do think I love organic type art with shapes and such. At least that seems to be where I am leaning.
I have eco dyed papers for a while now and love it. I use the same thing you do as far as the alum and vinegar. But I never used the pepper corns or juniper. I will try those next time. :) I will tell you that I use printer paper almost exclusively. I mostly never have it tear or fall apart. But I do not fold my paper. I found an old roasting pan at a garage sale and I use that now. That way my paper can lie flat and therefor never has the vulnerable fold in the middle. Thank you for sharing your beautiful outcome. I LOVE Eco papers! :)
Beautiful prints Nina. Thank you for sharing the ingredients on how to do this successfully. Love the way you used them also. Congratulations to the lucky winner.
These prints turned out so beautiful. The different things you're making with them are going to make lovely Christmas gifts. Congrats to the lucky winner!!!! Hugs Shell

You really have perfected the eco dyeing. Absolutely gorgeous papers and they really do make lovely journals♥♥! Wonderful give away Nina and Congratulations to Laura!
I have been using linen hinging tape by Lineco. It is used in bookbinding and it so good for spines. It is white and haven't dyed it but maybe could. IT is very light and strong.
Let me tell you what I think, I think these are fabulous! You are so generous with your plays and projects. Thanks so much for sharing your tips of research. -Marsha from Texas
I have tried the eco printing and did not come out as deep in color. I will now try your formula. I did iron my pages between deli paper and they did come out nice and flat. Thank you so much for this video ❤️👍🏼
Congrats Laura! Wouldn't you know it that the only video I haven't had time to watch yet was The Eco Dyeing video...augh!!!!! But seriously, those are beautiful Nina. I'll have to watch the video, I'm intrigued!

Who are you and how do you get so much done? Nina, you totally amaze me with all you accomplish each month. These papers and gifts are absolutely amazing. Congratulations lucky winner! I love your prints, Nina! I´ve been trying to find alum, no luck so far. When I did my prints, I got really good prints. I used a mixture of papers, also copy paper, and mine also tore. A few did more than that; they were just bits, LOL! But the prints did turn out good. Tfs, hugs, Fia
I purchased my alum from eBay. It was not expensive. Some people have achieved great results using just white vinegar, so that is worth a try 💕💕💕
verafi lindeng I found alum in the spice aisle of some grocery stores, and in the ball jars/pickling section in other stores.
