Doing this swap more or less in a 95 Dakota body swapped with an 89. 750 cfm summit carb, 200$ eBay cheapest dual plane intake manifold money can buy and stock headers for now and probably permanently because dodge does not like anti sieze. Curious as to how much power you think it will be making all tuned in. I also had no idea that gm electrics were so simple. Was planning on wiring the msd box my v6 is currently running off of because the ignition part of the ecu went dead, into the 87 d150 distributor I got for it. I will no longer be doing that. As a fellow bad budget decision maker with more experience than me, got any recommendations on a budget friendly electric fan and way to wire that in to work? Junkyard is almost too good for my build so feel free to keep that in mind. Love the builds you’re doing and please keep up the good enough work. And remember bran-used is better than bran-new
The one wire alternator is a bonus did you see 4 seconds flat deal you just run there box no ballast there distributor . No hei module to fry every 2 years ballast 4 years longest 10 years. Something to think about. Nice to a magnum get some love
Interesting I've seen a lot of people use gm 4 pin relays out of gm dui set ups in place of the mopar box check out dead dodge garage he has a few videos on it .
How are you doing man? I picked up a gig last year as a producer of a tv show for hemmings and also helped build a car for MavTV. When I was done in October the plan was to film videos for myself over the winter to fill for this year. Unfortunately something happened that I can’t talk about because of malpractice, and a law firm has advised me to not talk about it for the time being. What happened put me in a place that making content was just not something I could bring myself to do. We are dealing with the “bag of suck” from what happened, and videos production for hemmings did start back up. That all said a new video for here will drop tomorrow, and we will be aiming for a more regular schedule moving forward
HEI ok if you run the HEI Modular you need a 45-50,000 volt coil or the conversion is useless. Those Modular will fail carry an extra one. Maybe Ballast resistors today are different. I would get like 7 10 years out of a ballast resistor. Make sure it was fully potted May the china ones from auto parts stores are not
Hopefully I’m gonna be making content again shortly unfortunately get into much because of the pretty major lawsuit but last year my wife was manipulated by “specialist” into having a completely unnecessary surgery. Not only did she not need but, in the two week follow-up, he admitted to withholding her actual diagnosis as well a as a bunch of other surgeries that were significantly less invasive with significantly less long-term effects. there’s some pretty major consequences and unfortunately I can’t be undone. Cording to the attorneys I will be able to disclose everything that’s going on soon. I don’t know what soon means but all I can say is we never gonna trust doctors ever again
@andreassrensen7115 that is true they normally try to do their best to help. Unfortunately this guy did his best to do deliberately do harm, and is facing civil and criminal charges.
360 for that heavy car is the best small block unless you want to go to a modern Hemi. The stock 318 in my Dart with the bolt ons and a better distributer setup was fun but now having a 06 Charger RT with 350hp that's what I'd love to put in the Dart someday. Gobs of bottom end torque and a good top end as well.

You can also run a hemi in a Chevy. Ask Derek. He gave the truck away.
That’s a good move. I always use 2 stroke fuel to start up engines that have been sitting. It lubricates the innards.

2 stroke fuel does no harm on a 4 stroke engine it just burn slow and it is way too thin than a reg gas.
