My son is 15 years old, and I got the call today to talk about surgery. I have been emotional all day. My son has autism and doesn't communicate well. I'm honestly scared. Last year I noticed his back looked weird and I freaked I contacted his doctor he has been through PT and bracing but her curve is still getting worst. I know surgery is the best option, but I don't want to see my son in pain and him not being about to communicate that he is in pain, or something feels wrong.
after some months it's my turn (spine surgery)
