Hey guys! In this video I am in the hunt for any black people and also showing the cost of living in Riga the capital of Latvia. We get local views on how life is from both locals and immigrants and we finally get to see a black guy who tells us how it is being black in Riga Latvia 🇱🇻

Anyone, that is darker than us here, is very rare sight. So..if you notice someone staring too much, don't get offended. Black people is something you usually won't see here, that is why some might get 'surprising' impression, expression? I maybe seen about 5 in my lifetime, passing by. But this summer is somehow different, i noticed so much more foreigners, and i don't live in Riga. Nice to see people visiting Latvia, have a good time!

There is no reason why would there be a lot of people from different racial or cultural backgrounds in Latvia except from neighbouring countries. There was no slaves from Africa, because local Latvian people were good enough for Germans to use them for similar purposes. It is not a rich country and not a lot people from other countries are interested to go and live in Latvia. Long and cold winters. Small and not very popular country. Not a lot of people know that it even exists. People who immigrated to Latvia in last centuries were Russians, Poles, Ukrainians, Belarusians, Estonians, Lithuanians. Most of the Germans left. We had also quite a lot of |Jewish people but for many historic reasons not so many left now. Also in soviet times, when Latvia was part of the ussr not much people could go there from outside the ussr. I don't know if it is good or bad. But this is how it historically happened. And I think a lot of countries in Asia or Africa, for example also don't have a lot of people from other continents.

Wow nice insight. But all in all I think Latvia is a very beautiful country and I loved visiting it. Very nice people even though they seemed abit shy to speak to strangers. You have a beautiful country and i was glad to have been able to visit and share my experiences from there. Bless

By 2025 all schools will be only in Latvian language as it should. One of few languages is intact closest to sanskrit. For those who don't know what this means, Hinduism is based on the vedas that is written in sanskrit.
