Pondering: Are you drawn to friends with good taste, or does your taste rub off on them over time? 😆 Sanna's place is so lovely! It's nice to see that exceptional Swedish style interpreted with some warmer colors, too! It leaves me wondering what do tacky Swedes do in their homes, or does no such thing exist? I doubt you'll ever address that since you seem to like to keep it positive!
I love my friends’ homes! While they are quite different to my own they are also cozy and comfortable😊

Hej Benita, thank you again for this nice video.... I also had to wait few months when I sold my former home, because I was part of a long chain of buyers-sellers ...Anyway, wish you a short waiting time, so you can enjoy of your new home as soon as possible.

i love love loooove to go to the department stores in scandinavia, everything there is so stylish. since my partner is from denmark i often go there but i also love the swedish ones.

From what I see through your videos, Stockholm appears to be just lovely and a place I could easily spend hours exploring and shopping. Speaking of shopping, has Sweden phased out usage of cash and coin?
A lot of shops and restaurants are completely card only. I never use cash and hardly know what our coins and bills look like any more😅
I love the footage of the shops. It’s so interesting to see the difference between shopping in the US. Those mushroom 🍄 lamps made me gasp- I want one so much. Your friend’s apt is so beautifully decorated. Great video - thanks for sharing.

Hello from West Michigan in the USA. I know moving can be very stressful. It’s smart to declutter way in advance so you have less to pack up. I always keep that in mind when I declutter. Spouse and I are both 71 and would like to stay where we are from here on out, if it works out that way. Best wishes.

It saddens me to see that climate change is affecting a lot there too Benita, I remember the summers in Sweden (not so long ago) with a very pleasant climate. In countries where it is usually hot this year has done much more, and the agencies said that in following years it would get worse. I think we urgently need to change the way we do things

Scandinavian design is very cozy and simple, which I adore. You also have a great sense of style when it comes to furniture. I was thinking to myself as you walked us through the stores you visited, "it's been almost two years since I bought something for my house." I guess I've become less inclined to buy things lately, unless it's really necessary. Actually, since discovering your channel, you have been the one who has inspired me to think so. Less stuff means less cleaning, which means more fun things to do!😄

Good luck with the house move and the sale of the apartment. I am surprised that you talked about chains. I didn’t realise there are also chains in Sweden. I thought the process in Sweden seems so much more efficient compare to where I came from (U.K.). Now I know.
All the documents, deeds & money is swiftly handled here without attorneys involved but everyone involved buying and selling has their own timeline of course!

I am about to relocate with m'y familly from France to Denmark ( my husband's New job at Lego) i would really really want your opinion on what type of shoes are best for thé scandinavian climate, especially automne and winter.

Congrats on moving to Lego land! I wear Nike sneakers all year around unless it’s really wet and then I wear Blundstones. In case of snow I wear Sneaky Steve leather boots.

I so look forward to your videos, Benita! Please keep them coming. I would very much like to come to Sweden, and I"m considering learning a new language - either Swedish, Norwegian or Danish. Which one do you think would be "easier". I have a pretty good background in German and Dutch, but am a bit rusty.
It's hard to say but as a Swede I can understand quite a lot of Dutch but it's more difficult to understand Danish for me so maybe Swedish would be easier?

us too in US with heat. It hit 111 degrees & humidity was 85. in my 61 yrs, the highest a few times has been 90. I asked Who ticked God off! so staying home, drinking ice water, ice coffee, salad, diet ice cream. And take evening primrose oil so my female hormones stay balanced.

Loved this video. The shops are so lovely. Where I live in Canada the only place that sells anything like that is ikea. Otherwise it’s just plastic junk. We don’t have much choice for nice design.

Vilken fin video! Jag saknar Stockholm och Sverige. Jag var flera gånger på Millesgård. Jag tror att jag är den enda som använder kontanter i Sverige. Det är billigare för mig eftersom jag måste betala lite till varje gång jag använder mitt kreditkort. Lyckligtvis tar mataffärerna emot kontanter. Ha det så bra!
