    L2: start distally to the greater trochanter and runs 4/5 away down the lateral thigh
    L3: half way down the medical aspect of the femur or the patient’s groin running along the medical side of femur and just distal to the medial tibial condyle (03:02)
    L4: ¼ of the way down the medial aspect of tibia down the medial side of tibia underneath medial malleolus, underneath the medial arch of the foot underneath to the bit toe on the sole of the foot (03:26)
    L5:1/4 of the way down the lateral aspect of fibula swooping down and then into a diagonal line with the big toe this time on the dorsal side of dorsum of the foot (04:01)

    Very interesting. I just wish different colors were used to indicate the different dermatomes. For people who are colorblind this can be quite challenging.

    Overall nice video. A little confused w/ your map for L2 dermatome. I have never seen it as described across the lateral femur? Most maps show it tracing across the anterio/medial thigh/groin area, starting from the L/S. Do you mind sharing the map you consulted for that ?
