Beautiful work as always! I’m mostly a cross stitcher but I’ve been eyeing that slip stitch blanket kit since you first showed yours months ago. I finally went ahead and ordered the Minnesota Summers colorway today - they’re on sale for Black Friday!
Congratulations on your Finish - it is so pretty. Love your WIPS - you are making great progress on them. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🧵🪡🧵❤️
Your reading list is excellent - I've read those books to include Anna Karenina. The translators of that book are the best Russian to English translators. Your stitching is beautiful and I love your projects!! An amazing 'door stopper' by the same translators is War and Peace.. Brilliant!
Beautiful stitching as always. Congratulations on your finish. I'd suggest Great Expectations by Charles Dickens or Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. I love both of them.
Hi! I saw your work on Instagram recently, so I thought I'd check out your Flosstube. I started my own Flosstube channel, but I've only done 3 videos; congratulations on making over 100!! 🎉 We love Brandon Sanderson in my family but somehow I didn't know anything about his kickstarter campaign. Thank you for bringing that to my attention. 😊 My favorite classics are Jane Eyre and Pride and Prejudice, neither of which are as long as Anna Karenina, but the fully annotated version comes close (which is my favorite version of Pride and Prejudice). Count of Monte Cristo would be a good choice if you haven't already read it. I love your projects and I look forward to seeing more of your videos!
Congratulations on Dragon Quaker. It looks fantastic. I am going to miss you pronouncing the designers name. 😊. For a classic novel I would recommend The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
Congratulations on finishing Dragon Quaker. It looks fantastic. Thanks for the book talk. I'm going to check out Andrew Klavan's books, they seem like my style of reading. Enjoy Thanksgiving!
I love long classics too. I think Dickens' best is Our Mutual Friend. Bleak House is very good too. The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. Of course The Count of Monte Cristo - I listened to it a year or two ago when I discovered that the copy I had read in high school was abridged. Clarissa by Samuel Richardson I believe is the longest classic composed in English but it's best to go in knowing nothing. It's epistolary. I found it very suspenseful until I couldn’t take it anymore and looked at the synopsis on Wikipedia but that ruined it. I look forward to seeing what you decide. Thanks for the video.
Oh wow, thank you! your stitching is an inspiration, love the Dragon Quaker. I was so pleased to see Stretch the dragon, since, for me too, that has been my first and so far, only Teresa Wentzler, but I am in possession of several other of her designs. I have been stitching for a few years now and watching your channel for most of that time. A couple of years ago I watched (and attempted) your diagonal stitching technique, but I think I was just to impatient to spend the time. I think I am ready now to return and try again...those diagonal panels really do look cool! Regarding books: Great Expectations - Charles Dickens, or any other of his novels...I also really enjoyed 'Dombey and Son'. Also Homer's Odyssey or The Iliad, although you need a good translation e.g Robert Fagles. Take care xx
Hard to find, but it might be in Kindle now: Spirit Lake by MacKinlay Kantor. I've read this several times over the years. Based on true events. As to the stitching: I love quakers too. I have not finished one, but I'm working on a couple.
Regarding classic books, I recommend Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. I keep a Word file of books I read and list them by author and also by the date I read the book. I also rate the books I read with 1-5 stars. In my opinion Les Misérables is a 5-star book.
Love when you do an update. Autumn Quakers….so beautiful? So when working on Teresa Wentzler, do you use a digital pattern, paper or can it be downloaded to Patternkeeper?
Congratulations on your finish of Dragon Quaker! What a big beautiful piece! I always enjoy seeing your progress on your lovely projects!
It’s always a pleasure to view your progress on your project.

Your big projects are always fascinating. Merry Christmas 🎄 🎅
I love how you persevere with Autumn Magic! I know you have been disenchanted with this many times. I love it though!
Beautiful stitching as always. Congratulations on your finish. I'd suggest Great Expectations by Charles Dickens or Tess of the D'Urbervilles by Thomas Hardy. I love both of them.

Big classics!! Oh! That would be War and Peace by Tolstoy and either Andersonville or Gone With the Wind.

Fabulous finish on your dragons.
I watched the Anna Karenina movie on RUclips a few months back - interesting story. Beautiful finish!!

Fab video as always 😊
My suggestion for a classic to read is The Egyptian by Mika Waltari.
