      +Cass Oti The tuning is C standard

    • @stevenrivera3977
      @stevenrivera3977 6 лет назад

      Like the other people said, it's C standard and a harmonic on the 5th fret. It also may be due to what strings you have. If you have 9's it's gonna be damn near impossible to play this without sound out of tune, maybe with heavy tops, but just get 10's or 11's and it won't sound out of tune since it's a higher gauge. I recommend D'adarrio NYXL strings. They are amazing and really durable. If you wanted to, you could keep them on there for prolly half a year and not break a string, but you should replace them once they start rusting because if not, you can destroy your fret board.

    • @palmerdean7288
      @palmerdean7288 4 года назад +1

    how do you get this kind of sound with a stratocaster?

    • @JuanPabloGomezMorenoXgamerX
      @JuanPabloGomezMorenoXgamerX Месяц назад

      If You see at the end of the vid he is playing with the double pickup closer to the bridge, it's more like a super strato in this case. Probly he has some distortion pedals as well and a compressor to avoid the strato distorsion high volume noise.

  • @Bonde334
    @Bonde334 5 лет назад

    Is it down picking or alternate when your doing the 00 5 00 5 part? Cause when im doing it in downpicking it sounds wierd and alternate it sounds totally wrong..

    • @jamessillas3026
      @jamessillas3026 5 лет назад +1

      Instead of 005 try 0 0 12

    • @Bonde334
      @Bonde334 5 лет назад

      James Sillas hm. Well thanks for the tip. But the 5 isnt the problem. Its that i cant get the 00 right. If i downpick it, It sounds too slow. And if i am alternate picking it its too fast. But if i only play 0 5 0 5 0 5 over and over it actually sounds right! And when i am thinking about it it kinda makes sence.. Since the 5 is just a really quick tap it kinda makes an extra 0. So it stil sounds like 00 5 even tough im playing 0 5. I am fairly new to guitar so i dont know if that is actually a official thing. That the releasing of a tap acts as one note. But it works for me! I am just unsure since if you read a tab on the song it says 0 5 00 5 not 0 5 pull off 0 0 5 or something like that..

    • @Randscorporation
      @Randscorporation 4 года назад

      Arnthor mittefternamnskadutaattgefani I know I’m a year late but the 5 is actually a harmonic over the fifth fret and it is two 0pen strokes between the harmonics. One short one held. There are a few points when it just alternates but doing two open and one harmonic the whole time works too.

    • @100011101011

      use a parametric equalizer to really REALLY boost the mids (300-100Hz range) and bump the volume on whatever is the source of the equalization. That's what gives the Queens that gnarly, cocked Wah sound. After that, dial in more overdrive as appropriate. But you might not even need that much after step 1.
