For $118, Razor is selling a battery for their Hoverboard that cost me $150. The original battery only lasted 4 months, and I properly maintained it with a battery tender. $118 is not worth it, and I haven't been able to find a generic replacement. At this point, I might try to deconstruct the battery pack in order to replace the individual cells. The product was fun while it lasted but disappointing overall. I also have the Razor MX350., and this is a different story. These lead acid batteries are easy to replace, and my children have a lot of fun with the bike.
Okay i took my son bike apart 4 years ago i know for a fact that we needed a soldered gun for the new battery your video had me thinking i pulled my battery out the box like this 😩🤦🏾 wish we had cables attached i need to get back on this project for him thank you nice video
My kids have 2 of these and there not like the one in video.1st there not Philips head screws.And there's no gas cap on them.its way Hardee the get cover off.you got to take out about 10 screws to get it off and I had to buy a long allen wrench set to get 4 of the screws out that are 4 inches inside the cover..what a pain..why didn't they keep them like this one in the video?
Why did you skip over connecting the old wires to the new battery? Also I wish it would have been on the blue model of the mx350 most likely to require a battery change instead of a brand new one. The blue one has the power switch where the “gas cap” is on the black one.

My batteries were soldered. I had to cut the wires and but connectors. Other than that this was very helpful.

The bike is for kids, this guy seems to think hes teaching the same kids how to do the battery replacement too.
Why not... They should know how to use these tools by now.. it is for 13 plus, my nephew is 7 and he knows how to use screwdrivers
