Ava is awesome - her virtuosic performance in this recording is just astonishing. As you remark, Cole, she is a remarkably mature musician and the world stage surely awaits her in the future.
I sometimes feel the importance of the accompanist can be overlooked as the soloist usually receives all the accolades following a show-stopping performance like this one. Even though you have quite a long wait in Ravel's 'Tzigane' before the piano makes its presence felt (!), you become a partnership of one once the two instruments join forces in this fascinating rhapsody. You are the dream accompanist for sure, perfectly in synch with the soloist and the music.
I see from some research that the piece was first performed in London on 26 April 1924, so this is a spectacular way to celebrate that centenary event, all be it one month early! Really impressive. B R A V O to you both!

Thanks for uploading this amazing performance of two of you! And I am so fascinated to lutéal. I didn’t know anything about it and even didn’t know how to spell the word to google 😅 but found very interesting videos and great recordings. Would love to hear/see the instrument live.

Wow (that makes two "wows" in a row, incidentally). I confess I have never heard of this piece...and I love the Ravel of the left-hand piano concerto and the piano trio.
She has such authority, such command. Not sure what she's called to do, but for some reason I'm imagining something other than just another stereotypical concert violinist career.

what a very assured performance from Ms Pakiam (and you of course). I would never have picked this as Ravel (I don't know the piece) - perhaps occasionally there is a little sound wash from the piano that is familiar ! That can't be so easy, to listen to the long solo part and then join the performance and feel like you've been a part the whole time!

It sounds more Bartok than Ravel. This is the strangest piece in Ravel's repertoire.

Shouldn't she stand where the pianist can see her? In any case, bravi.
