i love how they made menasor's transformation here accurate to the show, because motormaster really is the one that formed the entirety of menasor and the other stunticons just pretty much attached on his limbs (despite motormaster being the same freaking height as optimus in the show, seriously, the scale on G1 is such BS.)
Yea, I always remembered that one episode were Optimus and Motormaster played chicken with each other, and when the smoke cleared Optimus was all good while Motormaster was in a ditch going "oooohhhh, oooohhh"
And the fact they used Motormasters trailer for the limbs give it an actual use while ensuring accuracy is probably one of the smartest things they couldve done for the team

I was just thinking that Menasor was about 90% Motormaster myself. From what I have seen, this is the worst and most lazily designed combiner.
That’s the reason why Optimus Prime, Sideswipe, Wingcharger, Jazz and Mirage are able to disguise themselves as the Stunticons as well as impersonating Menasor. Even Menasor himself had trouble trying to expose his double and needed to pull out all stops to get the better of the imposter Menasor.
I'm pretty sure it's canon that Menasor is less of a combiner and more of a semi combiner. Considering it's confirmed the reason he's so unstable is because of how poor the teams connection is.

I know exactly what you mean. I used to be a massive Transformers fan back in the day and had to learn the G1 ways including most of the stunticons. As much as I loved them at the time their transformations were very simplistic compared to what we are seeing here.
I like the individual stunticons more than their combined form. The way they transform is really nice.

I like that Motormaster's trailer turns into a holder for the others when combined... Showing he is the leader and has more on them.
The way this version of the Stunticons is set up; Motormaster doesn't really need the other four. He could make Menasor all by himself.

The team consists of Lamborghini Breakdown, a paranoid scout who was convinced everyone was watching him, and able to generate vibration waves to shut down other machines, Dead End, a depressed Porsche who figured war was pointless since all transformers would die one day, Drag Strip, a Formula Race Car who figured winning was everything and would utilize every dirty trick in the book to do it, Wildrider, a crazy Ferrari who terrorized other motorists with his reckless driving, and Motormaster the Leader cruel and fearless Semi Truck who was feared and hated by his men, would drive over anything that got in his way and was convinced he was a match for Optimus Prime himself

I honestly love this version of Menasor way more than Combiner Wars Menasor. It’s not as unbalanced and a lot more poseable.
an amazing collection of figures, and probably best menasor ever made thus far, glad i have him!
First I bought 5 set of Aerialbots in 1991, my dad agreed to one but i begged him for 3 hours in the shop, then he agreed to all 5. But in 1992 when i tried to persuade my Dad to buy Stunticons he only agreed to 4 despite me begging for 5 hours for all Stunticons. His philosophy was more begging equals to more cherishing the toys. So that is why it gives me a lot of pleasure to see Stunticons combine to form Menasor after all these years in toy form. And I played with these toys for 2-3 years. And I still have them. But these days I give toys to my kids for whatever they wish and they are one day wonders, and then forgotten the next day. Maybe the cartoons were better in my days that increased my imagination and hence created more value for the toys.
I thought Bruticus is badass, but Menasor is also badass! Simplicity is also key!

@@jadeblackwing4487 Menasor was similar with "Menasor! Crush! Destroy!" and he would have done the same to Superion had Omega Supreme not shown up. Not only did I not like Superion's voice (with a face only Waspinator could love)....his debut line (and 3 of only 4 words I can recall him speaking in all of G1) "Talk is cheap!" ....Ugh! That was just lame. The only other word I can remember him saying is "Omega!" when Omega Supreme shows up. That's it.

Es muy grato y relajante ver estos robotitos transformandose, siempre fui fanatico de los Transformers y pensar que hasta aquel momento, bueno ya habia sucedido con Robotech, luego los Gobots, pero no fue hasta Transformers que la diversidad de seres roboticos avanzados capaz de cambiar de forma a voluntad se extendio, recuerdo aquella frase "Mas de lo que ves" y con cada video realmente voy comprendiendo eso, pensar de que apenas eran unos movimientos muy basicos inicialmente al transformarse y de pronto despues del cine cada vez mas y mas complicados se tornaron, lo que trajo nuevas maneras de romperse la cabeza preguntandose y como diablos transformo eso?, ja, ja, bueno me quedo con este compartir ya que es una parte dentro del niño que alguna vez fuimos y que dentro del recuerdo nos acompañara hacia el final de nuestros dias, bendiciones amigos.

I never understood why the Stunticons never appeared in the live actions movies. Just imagine all of them doing these insane stunts fighting the Autobots. It would be mind blowing.
It feels like Menasor didn't really need the rest of the Stunticons. Menasor already formed his arms and legs and all the rest of the Stunticons did is just latch on to Menasor.

This makes me wonder, what if instead of a team of stunticons, Motormaster is the one-man army and sole representation of the stunticons because he's able to transform into Menasor? That would be cool but I suppose more members means more toys to sell

Yeah, like the other guy said it's kinda hard to make them individual parts of the body when G1 depicts Menasor's limbs as the other stunticons just slap glued onto the main body.
Besides the increase in size and strength, the other purpose of a combiner was to have a combined better mind, so it still makes sense

Agreed. I don't like these "Cartoon accurate" designs of Menasor. I still consider the G1 version superior to any of these.

I cant wait to get my deadend. The only visual issue I have is that I wish the legs (shin part) were a bit further out so they dont look so flat.

I like the fact that fantastic model makers that can make triple changers, transform cars into planes and circles into cubes, can't get how to hide like a half of a vehicle because show-makers didn't care about their characters (sorry for bad English)

I have the 1G, Fans Project, Transformmission and this Menasor(except for Dead end). This Hasbro iteration is the best. I just wish that they came out with the figures around the same-ish time.

The combiner is iffy for me but one detail I kinda like is how all the stunticons except motor master have a similar transformation
This might sound like a crazy daydream, but I would like to see Hasbro use the Dead End mold for a deluxe class Windcharger. It would require heavy retooling, but they've done crazier things in the past.
Given that they’re giving Deluxe Minibots a go, I can see it happening. Cliffjumper, Bumblebee, Cosmos, et cetera.

I always felt Menasor was a let down in design. With the other combiners, four of the bots actually become limbs. Menasor, they are just worn.

It’s funny to me that half this video is just changing Motormaster to Menosaur, and it could have been even longer if they’d showed transforming the trailer into the individual pieces. 😂
Breakdown, the white car looks way more like a another Ferarri than the Lamborghini it used to resemble. I prefer the variety of none being so similar seperated but I do appreciate it's a bit more symetrical in combiner form. Prefer the cars forward on the legs for colours sake as well. Tucked away behind is a shame.

My top 10 favorite transformers
This makes me realize Dragstrip is the only one that really doesn't have a good disguise. The others, while noticeable, can still drive down the road without as much notice.
Maybe Drag Strip can camp out in Motormaster’s trailer? Course, he’d probably get himself kicked out.
Wondered where these combiners were during the transformers movie. Did they not have room in the movie .
This is one combiner I wish they would step away from the mold started by G1. It's just plain ridiculous that the other decepticons are basically just plug in and nothing more, meaning they don't even really need to be there. I also think it's dumb that the cars are in the back of the leg and not the front, just proving that they are unnecessary.
The cars on the legs being at the back is actually G1 accurate!
I so wanted these growing up
As much as I love the figures by themselves, they're all incredibly great in their own way and I'm sooooooo happy to finally have a six wheeled Dragstrip again by the way. I... am not a fan of Menasor, I honestly prefer the Combiner Wars version, which actually had the other four turning into the limbs instead of just slotting them on Motormaster's arms and legs. You con't even see Wildrider or Breakdown.

@@atiredfloridian777 yeah,grab that ver,be wary when buying online if you don't want the 1st edition and umm,fet the upgrade if you can(at least the feet) to help with the stability issues,i had the g2 redeco version and i got them into the stunticons mode because he keep falling off the shelf and it's a breaking hazard.

Wildrider and Breakdown have truly unfortunate back kibble. Shame they couldn't get it to compress the way Dead End's does.
You can clip it back together into the car hood to reduce the silhouette clutter
Their kibble isn’t a big deal since it can become a solid chunk, and the only issue I have with the mold is the hip joints. Other than that it’s incredible and one of my favorites of Legacy so far.
I don't like to bring the mood down, but I really don't like how this combiner shakes out >_<
Motormaster + trailer becomes the big robot and the other four just plug onto the limbs. It's...very disappointing.
Hopefully, Superion is up next.

I always found it odd how the Decepticons went “wait we have no land bots other then the constructicons…. Oh we could make a new combination bot and use it to also ridicule the name of the autobots by making the leader look like prime… GENIUS”
Also that’s how they combine? That’s so lame… let’s have it so the 4 other bots just SIT on the trailer instead of using the 4 to connect to the main body….
Not sure I like the simplistic integration of the smaller robots. It’s close to the cartoon though, I give them that.
With this design it feels like the other four transformers could have been left out. They don't seem to add anything to the transformation other than visuals.
How come Menasor lacked his scramble city gimmick in the original Transformers cartoon?
