@@TheAlexC or maybe because it was their first album they had limited funds, limited resources, and ended up recording it in a closet with a trash can lid. It'll always be my favorite album of theirs, I'm just saying: a rerecording would be sexy as shit.
@@dochojo9009 The band do say that they intentionally recorded it that way. I'm not sure if that's just them painting a positive light on it. There's a bunch of great songs on it but It sounds like complete ass. I prefer to listen to live version than the album itself.
@@lovelylemonfactory I agree. When he says "burning city" in will of one, it sounds out of key and drives me nuts. And their overlapping dialog in sons of fate is a epic if you know the words, but to anyone else it sounds terrible haha.
I gotta disagree, Doc. Act 1 is absolutely perfect to me, that perfection heightened by the flaws. The gritty mistakes really heighten the immersion of the broken world and give it a real punk rock feel. I love Act 2, and Act 3 is gonna also rule, but I'm very sad they seem to be losing that gritty punkrock aspect of Act 1. Granted, they're replacing it with the soul of Streets of Fire, which also rules, but the polish does give a different vibe.
You can get in line with the rest of us to get the studio version. When, is a matter of how long you're willing to wait. The rest of us been waiting ten years now.
@@GoldFighterPod Entirely irrelevant information tho. That's exactly the thing. It's been coming out "this year" or "next year" for the last decade now. We Kingdom Hearts 3 rules about Act 3 now - I don't care until it's in my hands.
If I can get Act III and a remastered Act I before I die, I would be so happy.
Remastered act I??? IIRC Act 1 is meant to have that gritty sound to it. Act II is cleaner because it's set before Wily's domination.

The Gambler totally killed it.
She always does 🙌
I feel like that first part would be track 1 since it starts on basically the same drums that Act I ends.
I SO DESPERATELY want them to officially release this song
I believe the part after 2:30 they've played a few times, people having taken to calling it 'Calling Out'. First part is brand new afaik tho!
0:36 Thats a part from Funeral for a son
YOWZA YOWZA YOWZA
RIP to the Riot Room :(
What happened to it? I was there for this concert, it was the bet live music Ive ever been to.
Where and when can I get a studio version?

I hear it'll be released as an add on to Half Life 3
boochparadise nah it’s the soundtrack to Firefly season 2
@@CriticsConfession According to a newsletter the album is dropping late 2019. But we've heard similar words before.
