Poor thing. :( You did everything you could, his environment was safe, he was on a soft rug, and nothing to tangle or bang into. Only critique is to keep fingers away from his face while he was seizing. Speaking gently and reassuring him is all you can do when this happens. It's so sad he was already in such bad condition when your friend adopted him. At least he had you guys for a little bit to make his days as happy as you could.
