As a resident of Europe thinking about moving to Palo Alto, cyclist culture sounds like a huge plus. It also has the potential to reduce the traffic you discussed in point one. Thanks for for video.lookomg forward to more future content.

It would also reduce air pollution and is easy to do because of the lack of rain :)

Hey Chip, I totally agree! I love and participate in the cycling culture here in Palo Alto. A move from Europe- wow, that's huge! What other videos would you like to see? Would appreciate your perspective and thoughts.

@@livinginpaloaltocalifornia For Me, we will be moving for one of us to work at Stanford and another still unknown. We are interested in a more quiet neighborhood and were looking at Menlo Park. It would be great to see a Menlo Park Tour like your Paolo Alto video. I really enjoyed that one. One bit of feedback would be it would be cool to get more cinematic shots of the neighborhoods (panning and zooming) instead of the dash-cam style drive through since sometimes the sun was limiting the view. But we loved the voice over and other commentary about schools for example!
Another idea I would like to see is just videos about bike and bus infrastructure in the area and hikes and parks around Silicon Valley. I know it is more common to drive, but It would be interesting nonetheless to get a well rounded impression of the area.
Lastly, since we are still priced out of the "entry level" homes, a video on rental properties would be great.
That was a lot but I hope it helps. Thanks for your videos, we both enjoy them :)

@Chip, I was thinking more. Did you see my Redwood City Tour video? Redwood City is about 10-15 minutes from Stanford, a great place to live. Check the video out here- ruclips.net/video/1zKAd42YM1Y/видео.html

Pali alto is one of the nicest and treed and green suburbs in the Bay Area with the hills being the nicest.

This seems to have a click bait title. Images aren't of palo alto. This town is so desirable Asian investors buy their US homes here.

Hey Geraldine, thanks for your comment. Images of San Francisco is a little more recognizable for people that don't live in the San Francisco Bay Area. However, point taken- will add in more pictures of Palo Alto.

I used to live in San Carlos. Don't take the 101, it's always bad, take 280. Even when google maps says it's faster, there will be accidents, etc. 280 also better scenery. No one hates Palo Alto. Stanford Shopping Center open mall is the best not to mention the low crime in the Peninsula.

I bought a three bedroom, two bathroom house here in Plainview Texas, for $150,000 four years ago and can now pay off the mortgage. From what is said in this video, the same house would cost between two and four million dollars in Palo Alto (!). Having grown up in Palo Alto and Burlingame and as an adult having worked at UC Berkeley, there are certainly things I miss from the SF Bay Area, primarily the weather. But the K-12 schools are probably as good as in California, the people here are nice. I may not agree with all the politics here, but at least it is affordable to live here.

Living in Palo Alto is better than San Francisco. My grandmother was born and raised in Palo Alto, worked in a technology company and is now retired.
Palo Alto life is quieter, crime is lower, many people ride bicycles to reduce congestion and pollution low, friendly, diversity. My grandmother is safe there.
