Seems very long winded too me , My setup is Vagrant with Ansible provisioning, that builds out a puppet master / with PuppetDB. Then provisions the master environments with git clone. same for the modules and Hiera etc.
I am having major trouble with my puppet in vagrant. I struggle on even trying to get the vagrantfile to function with puppet by following the instructions on vagrant's website. If anyone can help me that would be most appreciated. If it helps I am using it on a Mac with VirtualBox.
I think it would have been helpful if he would have sumitted his work via a flow chart of some sort.
