It's interesting to see how even before ishikawa was a captain, he already demonstrated strong leadership skills eg during the time out huddle he's usually talking to the whole team.
It's interesting to see the Russian players who has all the size and height advantage over the Japanese team who are clearly under size but still manage to beat the much bigger and taller team. How did they do that? LOL
@@blasblasblas2094Russia does not have a core team. Of the main ones there, only Yakovlev and then Grankin played.

I'm confused with how does that work. Can you invade opposite side to catch a ball? What happens if there is a player of the opposite side blocking the japanese for going for the ball? Or while the ball is getting back to the team's side can a player of the opposite's side touch the ball?
@@pedrojoaquinbarrioscedeno6052 If the ball goes outside the antenna, you can chase it down as long as you don’t step foot in the opponent’s court (meaning just the in-bound square). However, it does have to go back around the antenna before going in again.
If a Russian player got in Nishida’s way, if the Russian player was standing out of bounds, it would be called an interference in Japan’s favor.
The strength shown in the third set by both teams is unbelievable 🤯

@@volleyballworld his unpredictable direction of smashing the ball is very rare in the field of volleyball. When i was young i used to play this game as one of my favourite games. N i can see the difference he's doing here amongst the other players..thank u.

At the end, The way Japan thanks the audience is great.
Im really impressed with Japans setter. If Japan can find some more tall middle blockers it'll help them out a lot because the players use a lot of energy to jump to their max causing them to tire out earlier than they would. Really impressed though.
Japan's lack of height in relation to taller opponents is compensated with jumping skills as demonstrated in this match. This is brilliant strategy!
I believe Sekita (the setter) is one of the world's best setter, just underrated because of his height.

I was looking for Japan all matches in Olympics. I couldnt find the match of Japan vs Brazil so here I am instead. This Was the year when Yuki's shirt is still spacious.

Аа, нет не сделали, мы помним проигрыш в финале олимпиады ,именно из за не стабильных подач. Ведь подача, это постановка мышечной памяти, видать мало времени уделяют на это.

Да у любой команды у сильных подаванов много ошибок. Чем сильнее подача, тем выше вероятность ошибиться, но риск этот зачастую оправдан. Плохо только когда при плохом подбросе они сознательно лупят со всей силы, что практически всегда гарантирует аут или сетку.

American has the size and height, just like the Russian. Just imagine if all the Japanese players have all the height and size like the American then they will crush every team and be unbeatable.

14:56 He uses the Middle A LOT, even in hard situations, that applies a pressure on the other Middle that didn't exist before!! Now he has more to worry about and can't over commit to the sides like he was doing before, this gives the lower level Spikers more breathing room to score. Awesome Setter!! 👏👏, the bad sets and decisions of the previous one were hindering the spikers ability to score.
They don't have much power (they need to lift some weight!!!) or technique Off System so they need a consistent Receive and a brilliant Setter to be a threat (at least this is the first impression), pretty different from other Countries like France and Brazil (it's not simply the height, but it's primarily the power, technique and decision making).

No. Yuki places himself at the back to receive serves coz he is a great receiver than any of his team mates except the libero. Even in superlega he is doing the same thing

1. Для меня, когда нет своего тренера - это позор. А это уже очень много! В СССР такого бы и в мыслях не допустили бы.
2. Здесь у японцев безупречное взаимопонимание, а у наших не сыгранность проскальзывает
3. У наших атмосфера напряженная, а японцы получают удовольствие от игры
4. Наши немного уступают по скорости.

@@user-db2ek6sf3u Согласен 2 и 3 - спорные вопросы. Но на счет тренера, извини, ну никак не могу согласиться. Я сам спортсмен (МС России) и знаю что такое тренер. Тренер должен быть душой и телом на одной волне с учениками! А тут тренер ни языка не знает, не является внутренне патриотом нашей Родины, ибо Родина у него другая и не имеет национальной и духовной связи с ребятами - как говориться, быть отцом для них. На базе только материальной заинтересованности очень сложно получать результат на таком уровне. По крайней мере в моем виде спорта я такого не наблюдал. А что касается его профессионализма, наверное, он хорош. Но неужели Великая Советская школа волейбола не смогла родить своего родного тренера. Обидно!
P.S. А Японию, тогда уж, можно понять, у них такой сильной школы не было...

А на счет тренера, не соглашусь. В сборной тренер не должен учить чему то, считаю. Его задача подобрать лучших и наладить взаимодействие. В такой сборной как у нас, сама сборная выводит любого тренера в топы..И тут уже, федерация решает кого теперь им выводить на этот международный уровень тренерства, из молодых и перспективных. Чтобы эти кадры, потом уже в мире имели востребованность. А таковых, видать не было, потому фин у руля. Поскольку Алекно сам добровольно отказался, и порекомендовал его еще, то я не вижу смысла считать фина чужим. Он наш уже давно.)
