Sharing today the recipe of everyone’s favourite Chocolate Chip Cookies.
These Chocolate Chip Cookies are just like the cookies you get in cafes or malls.
These Chocolate Chip Cookies are soft, chewy and moist, just like Chocolate Chip Cookies should be.
While I have used eggs in the recipe, you can replace the eggs with ½ cup thick yoghurt to get equally good eggless Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Recipe :
Chocolate Chip Cookies
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Serves: 4-5
Ingredients:
2 ½ cup flour
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
200g butter
2 small eggs
2tbsp cocoa powder
½tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
½ cup chocolate chips
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180 degree Centigrade.
Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
Mix sugar, brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract in a large bowl.
Whisk for 7-8 minutes till smooth and creamy.
Add eggs one by one and whisk for 3-4 minutes till the mixture is creamy.
Mix in the flour mixture and combine the dough. Do not over knead.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
Cling wrap the dough and chill for 30 minutes.
Make small lemon size balls and arrange them on a cookie tray at least 2 inches apart as they will spread during baking.
Bake the cookies I n the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes till they are light brown.
Remove from the oven and allow them to rest for 1 hour for the chocolate chips to cool completely as they will be very soft. Store cooled cookies in an airtight container.
