Great recommendations! My son had the Step 2 push car. He is 21 years old now. It was his favorite! The stroller got pushed aside, also!!!! My other son had the Thomas the Train track. He's 16 years old now. It was alot bigger than how they are made now. It was his favorite!!!! I still have it stored away. I never had to replace the battery either! Kids grow so fast. Seeing your recommendations is right on point for one year olds.
Also other great ideas for bday & xmas are the toniesbox from tonies & also the yoto player as well. They are both audio players & screen free alternatives. They are amazing ideas & we ordered both for my son for Xmas. The tonieplayer comes in various colors & uses magnetic hand painted figures that attach to the player to play stories & songs. The stories & songs last anywhere from 20 min to about an hr. The figures are called tonies & the player is the toniebox. They even have creative tonies where you can download your own stories songs etc. On them & each creative one can download 90 min of content. They are newer to the US so the characters from Disney etc. is limited compared to their UK site & DE site but... they are adding more down the road as well as accessories. The yoto player is similar but uses sturdy cards that you insert onto the top of the player instead of figures. In my opinion the yoto player is better bc the cards are a little cheaper & the content lasts longer per card compared to the tonies. Each card costs anywhere from like $5 to $12 instead of $11.99 & $14.99 for the tonies & some stories last a cpl hrs instead of 20 to 50 min like the tonies. Both are excellent though & are also montessori related bc the kids can manipulate the cards & figures themselves without parents help. They are for 3 yrs plus but for now hubs & I will play everything for our son until he can learn how to use them himself.

We love the See Kai Run shoes! Target will put them in sale for like $10! They are super easy to put on, good support/footbed and cute! My daughter has the red car like Ryleigh’s pink one. She has had it since before she was one and she is almost three and still loves it! We bought the Zoli cups, dimple toy and buckle toy because of you. LOVE the Zoli cups, so worth the money! As for the buckle toy, she always pinches herself and gets frustrated! lol. Dimple toy is neat too!
