@@itsHecticc i recommend switching the controller settings to cold shoulder and this will make your melle the right stick and grenade right bumper. set prismatic to up d pad and finisher to left stick click. for me this makes every input for pvp on the right side of the controller. this makes it easier to reach any input with my right pointer finger or thumb for melee

So happy someone is actually talking about the setting for controller players. I get it, mnk is awesome, but i like controller as well. Final shape is a 10 for me with all the nostalgia and a 8 without it. The ending mission and cutscenes made me feel something bro

This DLC brought me back to the game after 5 years. I'm really enjoying it.

Pro tip, turning your left stick deadzone to zero will activate rotational aim assist easier since your joystick is always inputting with stick drift
Besides the opening mission I haven’t played Final shape. Been waiting until I can afford it. Seen your videos and can’t wait to be able to. Thanks for the controller setting help.
I remember a Bungie dev talk where they said that they deliberately set the weapon reticle off centre to get more of the background in the shot to highlight the skyboxes.
Some critiques, if I may.
1. State what type of controller you use and you button layout at the beginning, for reference.
2. Ive seen some high level scrimmers leave vibration on as they say it gives them another sensory feeling on when to disengage.
3.The Double Press delay should be set to 5, as it gives you the max amount of time for your input.
4. As far as Reticle Location, this is subjective. Below Center is default bc it displays more screen above the reticle. This makes it easier for players to deal with verticle threats, like Stompee hunters.
5. Not really a crticism but a question. I have crouch on R3 as well but Hold To Crouch is nothing. If you put that on R3 too, you have to now hold it to crouch. Doesnt that make fighting from a crouch (while holding R3) hard?

This has been incredibly helpful. Was really struggling why a lot of my shots whiff or couldn't turn in time. Did these settings and damn absolutely mapping now. Game changer 🤘
Changed my centering a few weeks ago. Still not wholly used to it. 10 years of habit won’t break that easily. But I like it a lot more.

I use r3 to crouch in other pvp games but never in destiny. Bad habit I need to fix, not sure why I never thought to change it.
I usually use left back paddle to jump in games but for some reason this feels really bad on warlocks jump so I have jump on L1 and grenade on left back paddle. It’s weird because on titan and hunter it feels fine but if I use paddle to jump on warlock I fall into the abyss constantly.

@itsHecticc The seasonal activity is at least pretty rewarding if you collect samples but the seasonal model itself has run its course.
Echos still has 3 battlegrounds coming in act 2 and an exotic mission in act 3. Agree it is lackluster now but I would hold judgment
@@ryork12 that one end encounter for breach executable is the most annoying thing ever...those fuckin laser grids piss me off so much it's unreal!..they also 'said' they nerfed how hard some of the vex were hitting...my ass they did! lol
I play at 20 with 1.5. i smack. But i have three control freaks glue ontop of eachother on the right joystick. I also have a custome joystick spring with 220 grams of force instead i thiink the defualt spring is 65 grams. I have a lot of control and the sticks are super tight. I also play 0s for my dead zones. The stick drift a little, but when i have my thumbs on the sticks it doesnt matter.

below center reticle puts ur gun at head level and puts ur gun where it is both from ur pov and enemies causing less ghost bullets ,below center reticle is how the creators and art directors ment destiny 2 look and gives you a legit playing experience,i promise kd has gone up .8 from swapping
True. They also intend 75 FOV.
There's a reason why below center is a thing. It has something to do with the previous titles Bungie has made, such as the Halo series. The reason why it is below center, is because it makes it easier to see flying enemies. There's only a few videos I've seen and a few Reddit posts! Just an FYI if you didn't know :)
I’ve been playing it and taking my time.. although I think some of my missions might be glitched
But final shape has been great.. the episode seems lacking
I have talked to many people in reddit and they always say: dont use axial dead zone just use radial OR if you gonna use both make sure redial is always .01 higher than axial, I use both.
in your thumbnail your showing center recticle vs below reticle ,the 2nd picture in your thumbnail with better devils is center reticle and u can see less of your screen and that is not a optimal way to play

I went for the nacon pro 5 also for the hall effect sticks
Stick with analog for now, the HE controllers aren’t good enough yet…. Sure buy one just as an investment in the future product if you want but analog is currently meta for better dead zones.
Changing the centering was a great feature..I haven't played with the other stuff, I'm old, I just play to relax, lol. Those of you, (including my son) who use a mouse and keyboard is just crazy to watch .. I'd rather have an Atari joystick, 😂

Funny he is really doing new controller settings when you are playing on a p.c. Not a console two totally different animals. These settings might not work when you going to the console and have the recoil and different feel but thanks for atleast trying.

So let's get this straight. You seem to think you know what controler settings work best for every player and play style. Try, "these settings may help you, they were changed for the Final Shape". What works for you does not work for everyone.
The sensitivity changes aren’t for everyone but everything else was a must change
@@itsHecticc In your opinion. The differences really aren't as big as you make them out to be. In fact when you test them the old settings are what most people are used to. Different does not always mean better.

Accused of cheating lad lol I use to be ranked number one in the world of COD at the time I had over 45 million points, never cheated just use to love the game used too have Tritton war heads headsets 5.1 they were awesome at the time which would allow me to hear everything on the maps and I was a fast gun and run player , didn't know what camping was or any out of bounds rubbish I just killed everything that moved even wiped one team out with just my knife, played with and against players that you guys have heard of but you never heard of how of either in solo playing or team games wiped out their squads with ease, I was offered league tv, million pound contracts everything,
Then I was in the middle of moving so laid off for a week then reset up, switched on to find my account had been reset accused of cheating wtf init, contacted the company their apologies were 4 days of quadruple xp as they could not give me back what tyey had stole, there are many if us out here who are much better players than the world sees yet although we are in the shadows it does not mean we cheat ,
Even took on the solo events beat the best who then blocked me for beating them lol.
So I beat the actual cheats or ran away and cried wolf,
It use to be the same in destiny to I showed the world how to run the vog easy at the time and then soloed every hard nf now called Gm lol , even had top streamers of destiny asking for my help lol to make them look like they worked out the Gm etc, lol nah man it was me showing them how to get it done .
