Awesome performance! This museum quality exhibit was designed, constructed and installed at the Texarkana - Discovery Museum on July 10,, 2013. The exhibit was recognized by the Mayor - Bob Bruggeman during the dedication and proclaimed the date as Texarkana Tesla Day! This permanent exhibit was donated by: Richard Wesley Mathias - Founder and President of Tesla Coil Museum Exhibit Program. This is the first of nine (9) additional planned museum exhibits to be placed by 2022.
I don't know a lot about electricity but I do know that electricity takes the path of least resistance and the cage is probably grounded so metal conducts a lot better than your body so you would be completely safe holding on to that cage(if it is grounded)
Amazing what science can do. You should play "science is fun" by Aperture Science Phychoacoustics. If you do, you'll have google the website, then download the volume it's in.

I kinda want a Piano setup with this. Since Museums nowadays are all about experimentation, I can see this being an incredibly fun instrument =D

Tesla Coils always come to my mind when i listen to Hyper - Cascade, wonder how it would sound on the real thing.

It would be awesome if they put them in the front lobby.
You would be fine. The cage will be at ground potential, and would remain at ground potential.
I have seen a setup like this at a museum and you can just stick your arm right in while holding the bar
OMG when is the public allowed to see it?
yep even with the hf skin effect i hear that nerve damage can occur. the jury is still out from the cancer effects of tesla coil's too.
