Hello Hamsa! Yes, I think it will work fine. If you use a smooth clay for the stamp it will probably not stick to the wax. You might also try to put some powder on the stamp, just to be sure. If you melt tin instead of clay on the mold, it should also work.. Greetings from a sunny Finland!
I like this way of making stamps, you don't have to think "mirror-image". The plaster mold can be used over and over again to create new stamps.
