    Watch India TV's special report to know how two most powerful women Chief Ministers of India, Jayalalithaa and Mamta Banerjee led their parties AIADMK and TMC to historic win in Assembly Elections 2016.
    In a first BJP win in Assam Assembly Elections and Sarbananda Sonowal going to be first BJP Chief Minister of Assam. Mamata Banerjee and J Jayalalithaa return to power again with full majority in West Bengal and Tamil Nadu respectively. The Left Democratic Front (LDF) won 91 seats in Kerala.
    Mamta Banerjee led Trinamool Congress win 211 of the state's 294 seats. Jayalalithaa led AIADMK win 134 seats in Tamil Nadu. BJP has won 86 of Assam's 126 assembly seats.
    Now BJP is close to 'Congress Mukt Bharat' as Congress has lost two more states - Kerala and Assam.
