Coop was worried about hitting his head on the backboard, but the Doctor was determined to rock that baby home.

This dunk is just as nasty as when C-Webb went behind the back and dunked on Barkley in the nike commercial.

83 Sixers GOAT...destroyed the Lakers. Injuries and age after. DR J saved the NBA....not magic or bird. Doc battled both early on and had the edge

Yup. Facts. Here is another, I saw Doc with ABA Nets. First point forward. If Philly had not asked him to reduce his scoring, his numbers would be more impressive. Carried BOTH leagues.

The icing on the cake to make the dunk iconic was Cooper covering his head. He needs to explain that instead of going on with would've, could've, should've about if he had did this and could've done that. Explain what was on your mind covering your head!

They were out of step. Doc was already on his left foot and taking off as Coop was just stepping onto his right foot, he then had to take another half step to get to his left foot to jump, by that time Doc was already in the air. If Coop had ESP and knew what Doc was gonna do, he would have jumped right when Doc started the rock a bye, Coop would have already been in the air as Doc jumped and probably would have blocked it. But then we would be watching a different video.

His best chance was to just foul him.
