GG to NIP though, this is no loss for them, they beat TSM, BDS, and the siege giant G2 to go to the grand finals. Great job to both teams. I’m happy for Canadian, he’s deserved this for a while now.
Bleach is good for health BDS maybe but TSM played exceptionally well throughout the whole tournament. I honestly think NIP caught TSM on a bad day since Beaulo was really the only one carrying the game the second time around

I never watched R6 esports before this match. I originally joined for the year 5 leaks, and stayed because I had nothing else to do. I had previously heard of and interacted with fans of SSG, so I rooted with them for the hell of it while my friend in the call rooted for the underdog NiP. This match was *insane!* I've never been so hyped over anything compared to watching SSG come back from a two game loss streak to pound NiP to the dust. Both teams are great, don't get me wrong, but... SSG all the way.
I was for SSG but i think NiP did very well too... they looked undefetetable in the lover bracket. Also it was nice, (if they planned it like that) that they saved Villa until the final!
Since it was a double elimination tournament it gave SSG the advantage for not losing and coming from winner's bracket, since NIP and many others would have been knocked much sooner but didn't thanks to a second chance, and it's better than having to make NIP beat SSG twice to win like other double elimination tournaments
Man Spacestation really got me scared for a moment, but kinda fitting most of their winning rounds are heart attacks, fitting that their finals win should be as well. I’ll admit when Pino hit that shot falling into blue I thought it was just not meant to be.

I got all my predictions right surprisingly. I was rooting for NiP to beat G2. I was rooting for SSG to beat Tsm, and at that point I knew NiP was on such a hot streak, and TSM couldn't bring the fight other than Beaulo
Penguin Noodles merc and achieved just weren’t there at all, NIP is good at making people change their play style, but players like Shaiiko and Beaulo are naturally aggressive. That is why they were always fragging and carrying while everyone else on the team would struggle

@@sidar2692 Exactly, I think you can still find the full brackets online if you search it up. It'd have been unfair for SSG if this advantage didn't exist in this type of an elimination championship. SSG won all of their matches, while NiP lost quite in an early stage. However, since they dropped to the Loser's Brackets (they qualified to the Winner's Brackets from the Group Stage) this basically gave them a second chance to win the competition and they used this. Both teams deserved to be in the final match but one deserved it more, that's how this system works I believe.

So SSG should get no advantage for flawlessly playing the tournament. This was pretty small advantage compared to most other similar tournaments.
