Hi Abbey - I just found your channel. I'm 61 years of age and I'm not tech savvy. I've been a medical claims examiner for 17 years. I'm a heck of an internet researcher, that's all I have to offer. I'm not educated in project management or social media set up. Do you think I can be a VA to anyone?
@@debyc550 Research and general admin are great services to offer. A great option for you may be start in your local area to find a business owner who would like to save some money by hiring virtually.
Great content. I started my VA business this month and business is going so great. I took some tips from your website. Thanks for so much awesome knowledge. Looking forward to the next video. 😊
@Deidra CP could you please give me some tips on where and how to find a VA jobs cz I'm interested, do I need a previous experience in order to work? Please inform me.
@@roseyene5151 Hi! It's not hard to start. You just have to know what you're good at and build from there. If you like to create documents, organize, or whatever...you can build a virtual assistant business from what ever skills you have currently. IG was a great tool for marketing for me. I hope this helps.
@@MsDeeAnn Thank you so much dear for the information 😊 however I have another small question.. where I can find my first ever VA job with zero experience cz I'm still confused ! 😔
I love this list! I am currently working as email management and customer support. I am working through Pinterest management and Online Business management to offer next quarter.
I thought my headphones were broken since sound was only coming from one side but then it played the virtual savvy intro and I realized it was just the video lol
I 100% agree with you on all of these tips but especially the one about podcasting. It's becoming so huge that I think this will certainly be a good service to offer. I was just laid off from my EA job and I'm over corporate America so I think it's time for me to start my VA business!

I completely agree with this list! Definitely sparked an interest i didn’t think i had (Podcast Management) 💡. Abbey, have been such an inspiration on my VA journey! SN: your camera quality is amazing! What is a good camera to start out with on a budget?
This is my first video I have watched from you. I learned of this type of work from a podcast today. I used to be an Administrative Assistant and a Business Analyst. 10 years ago I went back to school for physical therapy assistant. I have been working in this field for 6 years but times are changing and our jobs may be in jeopardy due to insurance changes. I have a dream of remote work while I travel but wondered what I could do. This seems like a good fit with my background. My concern is I am outdated with a 10 year lapse in my admin work. I do use social media a lot but am not skilled enough at this point to be of service to a client. What do you suggest to improve my skills?
Great question Debbie. Although, you may have a bit of a lapse, it doesn't mean the skills themselves are outdated. I would consider what skills you really want to offer and do some research on current systems that maybe used for those services!
Make sure to subscribe to my channel for more tutorials to come. We also have a great tech resource available, SavvyTech. You can learn more about it all the amazing courses inside here...savvytechtrainings.com/p/savvytech
Since you mentioned it a few times I am curious about"organic traffic". How does this relate to SEO and marketing? Is this part of social media management, and more applicable to smaller companies?
Organic traffic is basically traffic you don't pay for. It can apply across any platform that you use the share information and connect and it is for ALL business owners and companies!
Hi Abbey, thanks for all the wonderful information you are sharing. I am currently a high school English teacher but am starting to look for other job opportunities that will suit my skills and experience. I love to teach, however, it’s not about teaching anymore...but I won’t get started on that! I am getting burnt out on all the “stuff” that has enveloped teaching and am looking for something that I can do from home, or anywhere else in the world, and work the hours I want, but still get paid well. With my skills and experience, would I be able to contract out services as a VA?
Just a question Abbey. If you’re so successful in Virtual Assistance, why can I not find any of your actual services. All I see are these classes you put all your time and effort into. And why are there never any slightly negative comments? Would love to hear from you so you can prove me wrong please!
Thank You for your comment! We feel really fortunate that we do what we do and really try to give amazing information to our communities either paid or unpaid. We are also fortunate to have raving fans, it's incredibly humbling to be supported the way we have. I can say that there are people that have not been happy with us, you are correct, you cannot please everyone. I would love for you to jump into our Facebook Group here: facebook.com/groups/vasavvies and ask those members. Outsourcing makes a lot of sense for businesses that are just starting out as it is easy, hassle-free, and it is relatively less costly than hiring someone in-house! With so much inspiration from people like you, I started my own virtual assistant website - www.virtualouspro.tech . I am very excited.
