Great video, only 5 mins, yet a ton of action and strategy all neatly edited together. Fantastic channel, keep it up.
Thanks! That's my goal, to keep it as short and action-packed as possible.
Really informative as well, very useful and much needed video, very good explanation of tactics.
Really underrated channel, keep up the good work!
Yes!! An American using the metric system! Instant sub
Except we still use MPH ... LOL. I think I'll start including both MPH and KPH in future videos. Thanks for the sub!!
That would be great!
Amazing footage + commentary. Keep it up :)
Love the length of these videos, the content to time ratio is great!
As usual... Great vid and I love the commentary!!! Thx for sharing!!!
These bikes, and this landscape
Quickly becoming my fav YT cycling channel. Keep it up!
I really like your videos, especially the commentary!!! Thanks Jeff! I gave you a follow on Strava as well.
Glad you like them, thanks for the sub!
Great video...i learn A lot from you!
Awesome! Really enjoying your videos. Great to see you guys using distance measurements of the civilized world. 😂
Awesome team work👍🏻
Thanks for all the tips!
Sick videos!
Needed to be a longer video. Great video. New subscriber.
Thumbnail looked like a videogame
Nice tactics !
How do you even think about these strats while going full gas and without a head coach on team radio?! Insane!! 🚴🏻♂️🙏🏻
You guys are freaking fast
So cool
Man, I wish I had a teammates sometimes. This looks so fun just ripping legs off ahaha
Join a team dude! The sport is so much more of a team effort in the P/1/2 field. Definitely hard to make anything happen if you're just riding by yourself. I spent a long time in Cat2 by myself, just hoping the race played out in my favor.
@@NorCalCycling yeah that's pretty much where I'm at. I'm on a "team" but don't have teammates in my races so it's hard to get results and get on a better team...would be cool if you did a video on this. Just a thought. Keep up the good work dude, you're killin it. Blew past 1000 subs real quick!
My dawg was holding 600watts 💪💪💪💪💪
I wish I had the power to bridge gaps like that, lol.
That one at 3:56 hurt for sure! but I was extra motivated to join my teammate up the road.
Nice
Man you have great videos!I love it!
I’m just wondering what type of app you using for all information watts, speed etc?
Hardware is Garmin and Power2max, software is garmin virb edit/dashware, and adobe premiere pro. I get this question a lot, and I plan on making a video detailing the whole process soon.
That would be great ! You should do a video about your bike!
Thank you for informations!!!
Mind sharing your render settings & Bitrate? Editing in premiere pro and matching source bit rate and fps and once uploaded to RUclips it turns into a pixelated mess.
I'm going to make a whole video about this soon, but in short, CBR encoding @ 40 Mbps.
NorCal Cycling Videos Thank You! That would be an awesome video. I’m sure I’m not the only one wondering how your videos look so crisp. Could you possibly throw in go pro settings in that video?
Guess it's not a closed course?
Who the hell is the guy on the red trek, looks like a hulk on a road bike? 😮
That's me... lol
He is a hulk with a monster sprint. That's why I decided to go hard up the hill.
Impressive, I like the the variety in this sport from thin to absolute beast and everything has it's pros and cons. I don't like those long races like tour de France etc. but those type of races amaze me. Would love to participate in such a race for one time even though I know I'd suck. Greetings from Germany
Just watching this old one. All key team tactics presented in this short video.....Jeff spends the next 2 years telling people not to chase a team mate.
Don't chase teammates and drag competition across in your draft. That's the long version. Its obviously ok in this very rare case where it's 2 more teammates in a team time trial.
Hey man, what bike are you using?
Felt. I get asked this a lot, and I'm planning on doing a video about all my gear soon.
I thought to never ever ever chase your teammates !!
guess you were thinking differently about racing 2 years back
I stand by this strategy. Don't chase teammates and drag competition across in your draft. That's the long version. It's obviously ok in this very rare case where it's 2 more teammates in a team time trial.
Is it not a closed course?
Not technically, but it's in a quiet business park after hours and there are course marshalls.
Not that I care, but I thought that all USAC-sanctioned crits had to be on closed courses. "3D1. A criterium is a closed-loop course entirely closed to traffic. The length of the course is between 800 m and 5 km. The minimum width throughout the course should be 7 m."
It might not be USAC sanctioned race.
It's not a USAC sanctioned race, it's just a mid-week training ride.
What grade is that ?
The hill is probably ~7%. The race is unsanctioned but this is the "A" group and I'm category 1 in the US.
Same race from my perspective here: ruclips.net/video/MYDS9rX3Tuo/видео.html
Thanks for sharing Richard. You can actually see me plotting at 3:43
Nice
