This episode was excellent... heck, I watched it twice in one night! That's a new record for me :D S4 just has such a great story build up, I can tell it's going to be much more plot driven than previous seasons 8D

Okay, so Imagine this: It's a dark night--New moon and all, and there's no light around, only the darkness that envelop the ruins of such an old castle. the scene shifts to you running away, going down different paths and corridors to avoid what is behind you. The "Thing" behind you has no definable shape, but as it chases after you, more shadows and darkness coat the walls, the floors, the ceiling, basically everything and anything that trails behind you and between you and what follows. You have no Offenses or Defenses against it--if you use a sword, the shadows that touch it will rust, plants wither and die once this darkness overtakes them, and any magic or light made by anything is instantly snuffed out, forcing you to run. The Shadows block any holes in the ruins for you to escape, and you have no idea of the traps hidden all around. All you can do is run and try to find a way out, without looking back or pausing. All that can be seen in the darkness behind you are these glowing purple (or yellow) eyes, and this wide, (sharp) toothy smile as the shadows continue in their pursuit after you....
*Spoiler Alert*, I liked this episode a lot, though I was a smidgen disappointed that the Pony of Shadows turned out to just be Pinkie Pie playing with the old organ just for fun, I was actually hoping that the Pony of Shadows would be a new antagonist (similar to the Phantom of the Opera) that the Mane 6 would have to defeat, but that part at the end where we see a mysterious shadow with glowing yellow eyes gave me a new hope, perhaps in the legend that A.J. was talking about, when Nightmare Moon was banished to the moon, enough of her dark magic remained behind to bring her own shadow to live, making it a completely separate evil entity, a shadow pony that stayed behind & haunted the castle in Nightmare Moon's place, this may explain exactly why Celestia was in such a rush to leave the castle that she left so much of her stuff behind, so maybe, just maybe, the actual Pony of Shadows will return in a future episode or maybe even a comic book adventure & our heroes will have to vanquish this dark foe, at least that's what I'll be hoping for, I just won't get my hopes up too high, anyways great video, it really captures the fell of somepony playing a tune on the pipe organ.
I just realized "the Pony of Shadows" got mentioned as early as this episode, meaning he was built up to for almost four seasons. ...What a let-down. :P Like the song though. :)

It has the vibe to it, but it doesn't have the beat, rhythm, or melody of Dance Of Illusions. That song has a very distinct melody.
