That night at the Savannah Citadel in Mazuri, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Sonic and Chip heard some mechanical noises. The Egg Beetle had appeared in front of them, and it was piloted by Dr. Eggman. Suddenly the Egg Devil Ray appeared behind them and it was piloted by Orbot and Cubot. Fluttershy will do anything to protect Rainbow Dash so she turns into Flutterbat and picks the Egg Beetle for the fight while RD, Sonic and Chip takes care of the Egg Devil Ray.

The battle is like the one against Fracktail.
First, she flies around and drops randomly, then night comes and you have to deflect her attacks activating devices that make mirrors pop up. These will slow her down and let you the time to reach her and attack her.

LOL it's called an Egg Beetle... a large, flying, beetle-like robot made by Dr. Eggman to try and defeat Sonic the Hedgehog. It's the first boss in Sonic Unleashed.
