When I am cutting firewood, the cleanup takes more time than the cutting does, and we can't burn the limbs and debris where I live, so I try to use as much as I can for firewood, down to about 2" I am cutting it for my own use so can use any size that will fit my stove. No pine though all hard woods.
@@10PetersonTyler The small stuff cuts fast with my chainsaw. almost as fast as I can walk along the tree, once I get to the bigger parts it slows down a bit. and the smaller stuff does not need to be split. Anything under 3 to 4 inches I don't split , they make nice fire logs , and with my big glass window on the stove I can see them burning, like a picture of a fireplace.
That's pretty good foresting, Canuck. You can come over and cut my pines down any time.
Love seeing Little K at the end :) Lookin' good!
He's Fun !
Cool about the pouch. Too bad it didn't have some old gold coins in it
That would have been nice. Have a good day
Awesome video! Like the music and very informative.
how wide did you leave the hinge? and why bother with a rope, looked like a simple fell with no obstacles

It all makes heat. The small stuff would take lots of time to cut, but I imagine it feels good to put it in the fireplace. Have a great day

What's the rope you used?
Arborist "Bull Rope". This rope is 7/8" Dia, and rated for 32,000 lb. It's a little overkill for the job, but does the trick.
