You captured the essence of how I felt when I started using this. It truly is a psychological aspect that makes the difference.

It’s so true, I really want to use more ‘snazzy’ apps, but the calendar feature is a game changer…. thanks for your comment!

Thanks for posting. Looks good. I find the scheduling of tasks helps me know when my day is full- stops me saying yes to everything that comes my way!

That’s great to hear, the art of saying ‘no’ is the single best thing you can do for your productivity!

How do you find the iOS task/calendar integration versus the TickTick? I don’t love another subscription. :)

I got very excited about this when IOS18 was released, but unfortunately you can’t change the duration of the reminders, which is a bit of a deal breaker for me!
      Hopefully in an update 🤞🏼

How could I use TickTick to time track my different key areas of my life (not specific tasks I mean) .. lets say I consumed some time playing video games, reading, working on my personal development through learning something new get shower and some personal care 😁 .... etc

TickTick offers analytics when using the Pomodoro timer, but even then you can’t view focus time by project/tags.
A better app to use for what you need is Toggl.

You can set up folders in Ticktick, then use projects that relate to those folders in the folders. There is a way in Ticktick to create labels and assign them to every task in the folder. I have one set up for "work admin", "Health and Fitness", "home stuff". Each week I can see how many tasks and how much effort I spent on each folder. It does require premium though to do this.
