Very helpful video thank you. How do you feel about the UI in comparison to Things 3. Things 3 is just so clean, polished, and pleasant to the eye. What are your thoughts about Todoist compared to TickTick. Any other To Do apps that you would recommend?

does the desk mat pile or does the MX mouse snag on it ? I've never been able to find a decent mat like that the MX3s runs constantly smooth over ? nice set up.

This video is really helpful. Ticktick doesn't allow access to the calendar on the free version, so it's hard to visualize whether adding that is really worth the cost. So this is a great way to see some of the added functionality and use cases. Scheduling out my tasks is a huge help and it helps with work too, because I can visually show my manager the other things I'm working on in a day, so they can help me prioritize and delegate.

How could I use TickTick to time track my different key areas of my life (not specific tasks I mean) .. lets say I consumed some time playing video games, reading, working on my personal development through learning something new get shower and some personal care 😁 .... etc

I also use TickTick for many years, after OmniFocus, Things, Todoist, and others. I completely agree that it's worth the money and is packed with features. My favorite feature is Filters: created several filters based on combinations of lists, dates, and priorities. I was disappointed that Due Dates often became overdue. Some tasks are important but not necessarily tied to specific dates. So it was frustrating to see them marked overdue or to move them daily. Instead, I use Priorities, using High Prio for those tasks (and Medium Prio for week-focused tasks). I then applied a Filter to show only High Priority tasks along with today's tasks. TBH recently I discovered NotePlan. After some research, I'm seriously considering exploring it further and possibly switching. It would be a significant paradigm shift…

The one I would use the most is Thinkdrop. I could certainly use this! Sadly, it is subscription only. Thanks for sharing!

That’sr cool, I use the exact same type of productivity apps, but none of the ones you mentioned. Well, except for Notion and Apple Notes, which is an obvious go-to with all its new feature and perfect integration into iPadOS. I’m trying to stick to Apple’s default apps as much as possible now so I don’t have to fork over more money on apps and subscriptions, and I find that the default apps do a really great job when you take the time to explore their possibilities! A combo of Notes, Freeform, Reminders, Calendar, Mail and Photos is really efficient. I still can’t move away from Fantastical, but Calendar is also getting better, it’s just missing a menu bar item for quick access IMO. Other than that, Notion, Procreate, DaVinci Resolve, Photomator / Pixelmator, Lightroom, Notability all are great options. Good work and thanks for sharing, man!
