The story of genos is connected to drive knight , metal knight and the organization. In the webcomic of one punch man it is the arc of genos which is going on and within half a year ( because one writes so slowly) we might found out what happened to him . There are many theories like the doctor which repairs genos and metal knight conducted experiments to make a perfect machine to protect from monsters ( as the doctor says in his little speech to genos that he was very passionate about justice in his younger days ) I think they created drive knight who went rough and destroyed the town and genos was one of the people who survived and converted to a cyborg. There also a mention of a organization which has a lot of cyborgs and two of the members we see in the episode with hamer head . Also react to mob physco 100 next it is by the same author. 7:20 the GOAT It's funny how we all went from rooting against Garou to rooting for him. Just like how he was rooting for the monsters as a kid. Also, OPM isn't finishing anytime soon. The manga probably has another 8 years left and the anime is like 3 seasons behind it lol. I expect stuff like Saitama getting his credit from the entire world and achieving his goal to be endgame stuff. So I wouldn't expect it anytime soon.
Smile man is actually part a trio of brothers with diffeent toy wepaons but aimilar costumes and yes he was the same hero that got wiped in the first episode Also the reapsn episoees cut off is because these and part of upcoming s3 is one big arc and they couldn't cram a huge chunk of it all in 12 episodes whoch is why parts of s2 are rushed compared to the manga or they complelty change things that happen. And its a long ass arc. While parts of the stories are seperate arcs all of it is part of fhe Garou pverarching arc which is why in the manga it was abour 5 to 6 years for the Ma arc to end but altogether its almost a decade long.
