- Kevin O'Sullivan praises the Government after sickness and disability benefit claimants are being ordered to seek work in a bid to slash overall benefits.
Disabled people will also be asked to work from home as part of a push to get more people back into jobs and to cut the benefits bill.
Kev says: ''I applaud the Government for this because I don't want to undermine anxiety but we've been giving people benefits too easily".

Stop paying out for immigrants legal or illegal first and do something about the horrendous financial waste in government sites.
the weak government going for soft targets again instead of stopping the dingys
Well said.and stop giving legal aid to human rights Lawers.also stop mp's expenses that would save lots of money.
How much does it cost to house the illegal immigrants?
Your asking the wrong people
Maybe they should stop paying out £6 million a day for illegal migrant hotels instead of cutting the money of vulnerable people
maybe your being groomed by the right to blame migrants rather than looking at how much the Tories wasted during the pandemic on PPE austerity and on Brexit wiping out billions in the UK economy .
@@andyscot4844I blame both.
If you are British and don't know that the money spent on migrants are from foreign aid quota then you shouldn't be commenting. The money CANNOT be repurposed for British citizen's use.
Focus on issue at hand which is that there is lots of motivation for British people to be lazy. And most brits will play the system to their advantage.
8 million per day now
Typical of Brits to blame immigrants for their laziness and entitlement mentality.
Can carry on paying for migrants though
Save six million a day. Turn back the boats. Empty the hotels. Put UK citizens first. Start with food, housing and heating. You are frightening the legitimate claimants. Illegals aren’t worrying about being fed, where they will live and how they’ll pay for heating. I know who my government puts first.
Actually it’s 20 million a day!
It doesn’t matter because the money is straight out of the foreign aid budget so if it isn’t spent here it will be spent abroad on aid projects. I’m sorry the media love you to think that the money could instead be spent on stuff at home, however it’s just them gaslighting you.
It's foreign aid money! It gets spent on foreigners regardless of your moaning.
I'm genuinely disabled. I have osteoarthritis in my spine amongst other conditions and the government's plans have had me worried sick since the announcement.
Attack our own people to keep the boat people coming 😢
"Disabled people will also be asked to work from home as part of a push to get more people back into jobs and to cut the benefits bill."
So physically disabled people, not mentally disabled with no capacity?
What would really save some money is taking MPs expenses off them. Expenses are a drain on the tax payer.
So are the illegal immigrants.
@@nowords1988 They'll go after people with anxiety or depression but I very much doubt it'll stop there. Why are they waiting until the next election to put it in place?
@@nowords1988 I do understand that some do take the piss. I do agree that it shouldn't be a barrier to wfh for some who are able.
However, that should lie with employers. I don't think some will be bothered to make the effort to make adjustments for job criteria. Hope they do though.
I just don't trust the DWP with the extremely vulnerable.
Agree with the rest of your comment.
Probably make the job market even cheaper for employers and wages, already historically low, will be pushed even lower.
There's no winning solution for working people as it won't lower our taxes.
@@nowords1988So! These politicians take everything they can get for free including WiFi, TV licence, any tech, baths, alcohol, lunches, cars, eyebrow shaping all paid for by us. Why shouldn't people play the system. If politicians stop a their expenses then maybe they'd have some credibility, bloody hypocrites.
What a load of rubbish there are too many lazy journalists and politicians who Have never done a day work in ther life
I totally agree!
Oh definitely and O'Sullivan is one and his mate mike..like them two old goats in the Muppets
Him oakshott etc so when did they last do a honest day's physical graft in there lives? Probably never sitting in judgement on others is all they are capable off
The problem has been companies employing foreign workers on low pay instead of training british workers on a decent wage.
The corporations decided they wanted university students, they take the creme of the crop and leave the rest with the debt. How many people do you know that offer apprenticeships? In olden days, all our nationalised industries ran brilliant apprenticeship programmes.
the issue is that companies demand high level English and maths for Apprenticeships which is not fair to certain people@@eliakimjosephsophia4542
Completely agree, they've screwed over themselves - now entry level workers are usually worse off than if they sat at home and lived off of benefits after monthly bills and considering they would have 40+ hours a week of additional time.
They can change the benefit system all they want it won't change the working situation - people will still go off sick leaving shortages and will simply put in the effort you pay them for.
If companies want to see more people working then unfortunately for them they need to stick their hands in their pockets and pay regular workers more, bring CEO and director PAYE down to fairer levels, and stop paying as much out to shareholders as unfortunately investing is a risk and profit needs to be used where needed to recruit more workers to avoid overworking existing staff or again they will find workers begin to go off sick and claim sick pay.
Yep .. all the one’s coming on boats , let’s get it right !,,
That is the truth, why the obsession with youth, we've got an ageing population?
Why are you so furious about British people being overpaid? So its okay to pay for all the immigrants? Priorities are sick
They never say how many of them are British do they? 82% of babies born in the last year in Brent were to mothers that weren't born in the UK. They're foreign nationals. So how many foreign nationals are claiming financial support, bet it's over a million.
Taxpayers are paying over 600000 a day for 4 star hotels!
That's not a bad figure if Only. Add another zero, but it's actually eight million.
@johnparry937 I don't agree with the government housing illegal immigrants in hotels,, but I also don't agree with the benefits system where people who can work choose not to.
the cost to the UK taxpayer is £50,000 pa for just one illegal immigrant .... hey ho ... lets have another go and the sick and disabled ...
7 million pounds a day!
2 wrongs don't make a right There are many lazy people who do not want to work. I know I spent 15 miserable years working in a job centre.

My daughter would love to go back to work but a serious life changing illness has prevented her from doing so. Benefits like pip are inconsistently granted on the whim of assessors and genuine claimants are being failed by the system.
Genuine always get scrutiny 😢
and who gets to decide who isn't "genuine" ? the mirror? other brainless media outlets. i believe the "fraudsters" is WAY overrated. the system is a fix, it all depends who you get on the phone, they decide your life, its a joke and a scam, scum.
Sick loose their benefits but we will give benefits to those that are crossing the water. At 6 million pounds a day.
You’re assuming that all of the ones on benefits are sick, but that is not the case. I’m happy to help the genuine like most people but not lazy bastards who won’t work.
@@twistedsister2568 so you want to support those that have never contributed to English society, at a cost of £6 million a day? There are people that take the piss, but some are genuine, I have a strong belief in standing by those that are genuine, war veterans, autistic none verbal, and genuine cases where they have been injured through there work. How do you differentiate these cases we don’t have the competence in this type of work.
Then there is the trade deal with India, they demanded more concessions for Indians living in the UK in exchange for a trade deal.
We was told not to have more than 2 children..but yet others from abroad can have 6 12 plus.
Well said. The government uses the excuse we need young foreign labour to do jobs and then they breed like rabbits claiming all they can get and are even advised how to do it by agents before they even arrive in UK, but if a family of generation born british have a few children and claim anything they are treated with contempt and like lepers by the british government and the national press. For decades our governments should have helped people have more children financially and spent on OUR Infrastructure to provide decent reasonably paid jobs. Our government is as crooked as a shepherds crook and traitors to our country and people.
That is absolutely ludicrous.. shame on this s… government , there’s NOT A CAT IN HELLS CHANCE I’ll vote for conservative ever again
If you can cater for them without benefits, why not?
We need to overhaul illegal immigrants that would save us over 10,000,000 a day. This should be at the top of the list. No doubt they will pick on pensions again soon it's always the easy and vulnerable with this government
Completely agree with you the people of this country should come first
not really give em temp visas (as in they can be sent back any time) put em to work in on the feilds and factoreis for well below minimum wage (but they get housed and fed which really doesnt cost that much) with the promise that the difference goes to a native and a lil bit to the business, we keep em in the same places we do anyways, everyone wins
Yet they can pay 50,00 pound for each asylum seeker just for accommodation
@CarlyHawthorne-gm2sw think we’d be fuming if we seen the top end costs ,this isthe average cost they will have about 10 asylum seekers in cheap accommodation just to bring the average down
Can you tell us how many of those people are foreigners and non-UK citizens? Bearing in mind that 82% of babies born in Brent were to non-UK mothers in the last year. Can you tell us how many of those people don't speak English?
But it’s completely ok for the rich to have ‘creative’ accountants who find deliberate loop holes to avoid paying ANY tax!
agree, but if you think that working people do not operate a narrative of if i can avoid tax or claim a benefit i will or even pay cash to avoid vat they will and their are many more millions of workers than businesses ,sole traders are the biggest avoider's of tax but in that we as their customers aid them by what and how we pay them when cheaper is the motive
@@rgsnr8702 we now pay the highest amount of tax since the Second World War. We basically have a legalised mafia as a government, taking their ‘cut’ on everything! The points you make are correct, everyone would like something cheaper. But, if all those avenues were closed to ‘ordinary people’ the tax taken would simply be added to the biblical wastage of money our governmental institutions already happily waste! The poor pay enough now, the rich don’t!
Like wishy washys wife for instance
The government needs to close the loopholes, there’s enough of them and the bloated civil service to do this if they have the will.
Also, how many trades ask for cash in hand for a job off the books ?
There’s tax avoidance everywhere you look…
The rich work
During the plandemic, at least 3,500 applied for jobs on the farms when they were asking for help, only about 800 were given interviews and only about 300 were offered jobs. Explain that to us?
50 billion to look after migrants, some thing is wrong some where, they not sorted out the benifit system since when the new deal was brought out.
Nice and simple isn't it, Kevin? Go see your G.P. and it's done! Really? Always when there's a crisis (cost of illegal immigration this time), it's then a case of slam those who can not easily fight back.

The problem is that the most vulnerable who are genuine and honest get bullied off benefits by the DWP whereas the seasoned con artists who know the system inside out will continue to receive thousands per month.
Thousands a month you say.
Half the people I left school with have never worked and are no worse off for it
Exactly and so the message it gives is why work if I get paid for staying at home. Forget the self respect, pride and self worth but whilst they think it's great what they fail to realise is they will only just get by in life. Why not better themselves to have more finer things in life, own property, transport, hols, pension for old age. I was taught to work and save hard when your young and able as health may not be so good later on in life and if that's the case and you have saved then you can slow down more work wise. Work is a good social interaction, it gives structure, meaning and discipline even if it is tiring.
That's probably because they are doing stuff on the side cash in hand. You can't afford a car on benefits, or a holiday, even buying clothes can be a struggle. Most people I would say can just about afford to pay for food and heating and whatever costs they need to put to accomodation, although recently that has become more of a struggle. I'll give you an example of how some individuals may appear no worse off than those who work and in some cases even better off. On my street is a guy who was claiming benefit, at the same time he was dealing cannabis. People would be seen regularly queuing up outside his back gate to get some weed. He's would always wear smart designer clothes and he had a few expensive breed dogs. Now however he no longer has the dogs, I haven't seen people queuing outside his property for a while and it would appear that he is actually working. I have no idea what happened but obviously some people abuse the system like that. Maybe he felt the need to claim benefit as a back up just in case he could not get the illegal drugs he needed to sell to make a profit.
What I'm saying is don't judge everyone on benefits the same. Some people obviously know how to milk the system, then it's just like free money to add to the money they are earning illegally whether that be through drugs or jobs on the side it's still tax free. If you are not fit to work then you should not be doing any job, but even the government are allowing this under their scheme to get people back to work You can earn £167 without affecting your ESA as long as you work less than 16 hours a week, that would make you better off than a lot of people who are fit and working. Much to the governments dismay not many people have taken this up though, either out of not trusting the governments motives for allowing this, or simply because there really are so many people who are genuinely sick and feel unable to work.
I myself have been on ESA and it's predecessor incapacity benefit for 20 years and at no point have I fiddled the system and at no point have I felt able to work. I have multiple issues both physical and mental and in fact have just recently started to get R.A most likely as a result of the other conditions. So i'll likely struggle to get out the house to do my shopping for food if it gets worse. Now somebody could offer me a job for £5,000 a week and I would not take it becuse I know I would not be able to cope. Sorry to be a burden and all that but believe me there are a lot of times I feel like I don't wont to be on this earth as the pain both mentally and physically is so draining. I am extremely grateful for the little help I get and wish I wasn't a burden on society, and trust me i would gladly swap my issues to be able to do even the most boring of jobs if I could, but I can't.
@jshepherd2893 just want you to know I live a great life , eat food I want and got everything I wanted, far more than anyone I know
And thank you for helping me ,
Enjoy those holidays and I wish you luck in life 👍👍
@Binaural_Alchemist yeah some people on benefits are really struggling especially if you on uni credit, but I can't complain I get more than enough with everything together and I live a better lifestyle than people unless they earn 50k because they pay taxes and got expenses,
I just look after me and my dogs
So I really feel sorry for anyone working on min wage or struggling on the lowest benefits,
Make sure you are claiming everything possible you are entitled to
Take care 🙂
It's diabolical the pick on the sick who barely have much to survive on. Sheer contempt and an inability to see things from another's perspective. These are by vast majority sick people not workshy "layabouts" . What happens to them if they can't perform? Sanctions??? What's the extra money saved going on? Immigrants? Those who are responsible for these kind of decisions which will negatively impact a large portion of society just to pinch a few pennies should pray they never get sick and disabled themselves.
Well karmas a bitch calling back..
by rights then, i shouldnt be working with my mental health !!! but i do as i have to pay my bills.
@@justnelle9375 If you can work and are working, then you evidently aren't in the same situation with your mental health as many of these people who clain benefits which you want to complain about (or else you would be on benefits right now because you would be mentally incapable of actually working). These people have had to go through a lot of health checks which you don't even consider. I only wish people were more considerate of others. Personally I have been so severely depressed in the past I couldn't get out of bed or take care of myself (wash/dress). I am a lot better now but at the time I seriously needed help. When you are that depressed, you cannot focus on anything. It's not a decision not to do things, its an incapacity. Which is why the mental health service exists.
Also, get yourself to counselling/therapy if you are struggling. If you don't prioritize your mental health, it can become a LOT worse until you DO get to a point where you CAN'T work.
Don't forget all the people that were harmed by the injections that people were made to have, remember take the jab or lose your job. There are so many people that were injured by those injections and all of the excess deaths have been people that have been injected at least three times.
In 2010, David Cameron and George Osborne already sold that same story against people on benefits to the British voters.
One consequence of it being that former army personnels with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorders took their own lifes after losing their financial and medical supports.
Do you really want Britain to go down this route once again?
People who read the Daily Heil and watch GBeeBee News won't worry about retreading that route.☹️

The reason recovery from chronic illness is slower than other countries is because neurological conditions are poorly understood by the NHS and not treated effectively, if at all.
That’s right
I have worked since I left school. I've been bullied/harassed in my jobs you name it. To a point where my mental health caught up to me. If it wasn't for benefits. Seriously I would not have survived. I predict this will end badly. Speaking from experience DWP/work coaches don't do anything. They don't help. It will come down to you. Yes there are people who abuse the system. Why should the genuine ones suffer though as a result. This won't work.
@@CarlyHawthorne-gm2sw They are useless. They also rotate coaches a lot which also doesn't help. At least in my experience. Hang in there 🌻

No, and no government ever will.
My son is 19 he is still homeschooled due to he's issues he has social phobia extreme generalized anxiety asd which is on the autistic spectrum adhd low moods no confidence sleep problems if you can find an employer who will employ him be my guest. Bosses would sooner employ someone who does not have mental illness or developmental disabilities there is lots of discrimination if you have a physical or mental disability
With the autistic meltdowns my son has he would be sacked no boss would put up with the sort of meltdowns he has there is no help for these people to try to have a normal life so whos fault is that? the government? for constantly cutting services to do with mental health
My nephew has dispraxia, and on the autistic spectrum. He has severe social anxiety but he has just started his second year as a junior doctor. It’s not been easy for him or his parents who have supported him every step of the way. He could have sat at home on benefits wasting away, sometimes you need to deal with the situation instead of making excuses.
@@twistedsister2568 Then you know ASD is a spectrum, which is why some with ASD are more functional than others. Its not about sitting on benefits wasting away. My friends son is ASD and non-verbal, what excuses are his parents making?
@kellykreqeli8924 is right employers won't be wanting to employ people with those types of disabilities.
This is a major worry and I’m hoping they’ll see sense when it comes to vulnerable people because this is going to cause huge issues. By targeting the vulnerable, there will be more psychological issues. More people will be admitted to hospitals (if they have space) and suicides/attempted suicides will sky rocket. Imagine the ones who suffer debilitating depression and anxiety, well now they have something else on top of that to worry about and my god this is going to cause devastation.
The people that vaccinated them when they were children.
so this is a saddle to the taxpayer , perhaps all immigration and everything associated with it is not a saddle then , or perhaps in reality it is the saddles on the trojan horse stampede
How can someone who's disabled attend one of these 1 million job vacancies when councils can't even provide a simple dropped curb, ramp or automatic door for a wheelchair user to access a building?
Blair,,, Labour encouraged it
Blair has blood on his hands he introduced ATOS.
I have a friend who had to recently ;eave a job at a local authority run centre due to bullying and despite reporting it to manager there got no support or actions because they were afraid of the individuals themselves. She has been told when signing on not to bother working as it wont be worth it as they will deduct money off her benefits, despite being told she could do 16 hours a week without any deductions her part time job working 10 hours a week has seen £5 a week being deducted from her earnings. Add in the near constant pressure (read bullying) to look for jobs up to 30 hours a week. At the same time many others from the local area and many from overseas get free housing, utility bills and other hand outs having never paid tax in their lives!!!! Smug faced council workers forget who's paying their salaries and future pensions.
I had a similar experience in 2014 I was in the care of Remploy the training provider I was put on work experience at a company by the name of the community recycling consortium I worked here for three weeks and after which I was offered an apprenticeship role in business admin however as I found out there was no admin involved all they wanted from me was to man the phones. After two weeks here I started getting bullied by one of the directors who put up signs telling me how to ring and speak to people in front of everyone in the building due to this bullying I took a few days off sick and when I came back the next week all I had waiting for me in an envelope was £25 this company was suppose to employ and volunteer people like myself with disabilities and mental health issues yet the people running it were bullies themselves after five weeks of this I decided to walk out and leave I informed the job Centre of what happened but nothing was done I would love to work but this experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth so much so that I have decided that I want to go self employed as an author. The government should take a look at companies like this that take advantage of people before they make changes to benefits or judge disabled people

Yeah lets just tonk the poorest and most needy in society again. My wife had Schizophrenia and the Government even tried to reduce her PIP to save money. They always go after people on benefits whilst they(politicians)claim for everything they can get. Now lets overhaul the tax avoidance system. Its way to easy to avoid paying tax.
The tories are digging their grave on this one.
I was expected to attend work capability assessments when I was on hospital haemodialysis against DWP guidelines. The DWP were forever cutting my support without reason once for six months when I had to rely on my ninety year old father for food and other financial support. My support was only re-instated after a conversation by a sympathetic call centre worker. Eventually I had a successful transplant, even so I still have Kidney failure. Thankfully the pandemic arrived and they left me alone long enough to claim my state pension. Prior to my kidney failure I worked for 38 years in paid UK employment having made enough contributions for the full state pension. Please by kind in your comments to those genuinely sick who are not necessarily going to die within the next six months.
The system always targets the wrong people. Hope you are well .
They target people like you but billions in public finances has vanished during covid and our so called leaders can give billions to other countries and legal and illegal immigrants. They truly are disgusting.
Something that should be sorted out are the people on benefits who indulge in anti-social behaviour and petty crime. These people should be required to do menial work such as litter picking in order to continue receiving benefits. Not just soft short term community service orders.
This is two faced and ironic especially after 13 years of welfare austerity against disabled people. Remember the Conservative Party closed down all the Remploy sheltered workshops for disabled people, while calling these same people welfare scroungers and faux disabled. I have cerebral palsy and I worked for Remploy and I'm now 64 years old . Good luck finding people like myself a job repairing crumbling schools or stacking cans in a supermarket.

Anyone I receipt of disability benefits has already been medically proven unfit to work. They've already been through the punitive benefits system.
Find me an employer who wants to risk employees dying on them.
During the pandemic supermarkets eased down the number of staff, and never recalled many of them. They now have fewer wages to pay out, oh, and they installed machines for customers to serve themselves. Win win for them, i guess the 'forgotten' staff took up other jobs or just 'signed on'.

This Government needs to be voted out for this cruel policy to save money at the next General election.
Being on disability means your living under the poverty line.
I work and pay taxes, so yes, it's right to get people off benefits. But those sitting behind desks pen pushing and talking crap isn't hard work either. As a ground worker who works out in all weather's digging holes all day every day, earning small amouts of money to me pen pushing and talking crap is a form of scrounging to and the imbalance should be addressed. This is more important to me than someone claiming benefits.
The Tory government should never have done away with 'Remploy', a government controled body, that helped the sick and disabled work....
Benefits far too easy to get. Add the cost of hotels etc and the taxpayer is being fleeced.

How about billions spent on foreign nationals then, here and abroad.

All these commontators wouldn't have a clue on how difficult it is for a disabled person or someone with a chronic health condition to actually get work first you not only have to find an employer who is willing to give you a go then you have to find one who is understanding especially If you require constant days off work.
Beyond belief that you have all decided to pick on the weak
It's akin to 1930s Germania
How does 2.4 million people cost £26 BILLION?
Let's target the sick now, fantastic
Makes me sick! The system isn't set up to help those in need. No wonder so many people suffer with anxiety & mental illness. Anxiety & mental illness are symptoms of living in this sick world.
The very people you turn to for help and support are part of the very system that made you ill to begin with.
It's no accident.
Now the system that is supposed to help you is going to turn on you, never mind the money spent on diversity roles in the NHS & the money spent housing people from other countries.
The system is sinister & evil, dark, oppressive and downright predatory. The fact that we would abandon vulnerable members of our own society says it all.
why not use long covid suffered by hero nurses and doctors rather than just anxiety .
all these jobs but they are not full time to give decent wages or security , where i live today there is 132 jobs most health based HGV drivers or xmas temps and zero hour contracts , warehouse jobs have a but disappeared but as revealed on question time these companies can pay migrant workers 20% less legally also being a temp isn't even gaurented hours in fact you could start a 6am and be on your way home by 9amm because they dont need you anymore , my daughters partner has 3 days this week last week no days nor the week before , yet again the sick and disabled being used as a scape goat to cover up the governments pandering to the corporates , the multi million pound companies just pick people up and cast aside while Universal Credit picks up the shortfall with public money , dont worry though the investment companies and shareholders do ok though
And care workers were put on zero hour contracts in 2013 and are still getting minimum wage, now they can't afford the rents due to the fact that they've soared in the last couple of years.
1 million jobs available with a minimum of 3.5 million unemployed????
Lifelong benefits for a bit anxiety, yeah show me the figures please!!
The way they treat me i highly doubt they give Lifelong for a bit anxiety as you put it
these ppl have never faced the test they put a pron through and if your alread suffering anxiety it can push ppl over the top
The gov must serve its electorate, not control it to serve themselves, I will not allow this.
Working dont pay what about people working in low paid jobs claiming benefits blame companies who dont want to employ uk workers they only want to employ forigners!
What work??? And now we’ve got how many thousand migrants scrounging cheap labour .?…
Can we also recon up the yearly cost of them on 3 meals a day in hotels ?
So 2.4 million costing £26 bn per annum, 50% of this will come back to the Government through tax, cigarettes and alcohol, the lottery what is the problem?
so....the walking wounded...will have to get back to work......lets face it!!...somebody, has to pay for the invading economic migrants, to live a life of luxury, in the five star hotels!!
Was not that long ago they said living on the streets was a life style choice .
Damn disgrace it they think someone is fiddling the system have them followed in person and by satellite and catch them.... why punish all for the few....
should tackle housing benefit. I worked all my life to afford home in the new forest. Where I live council paying £2,500 a month rent for a horrible lazy benefits family who are always drinking & smoking! I say put them up in CHEAPER AREA but only if they WORK!
I misdiagnosed for 20 years, had to keep leaving jobs. Ended up getting the right scan and I have stenosis in neck which has just been operated on 2 level disectomy and fusion but scan also diagnosed a chiari malformation which is brain basically falling out of base of skull pressing on spinal cord.(waiting on op) Both conditions have similar symptoms, I have had a headache for nearly 4 years which prompted the said scan but I was gaslighted and made to feel like I was mad and wasn't entitled to any money because I left jobs but when your arms and legs sometimes don't move, in a lot of pain , tingling , fatigue , vertigo, dizziness, the list is endless. No diagnosis , no money. I get pip now , but if people can't see a doctor how are they going to get a diagnosis.
Thing is the baby always gets thrown out with the bath water, the NHS crippled and poisoned me 16 years ago I've been kicked off under every initiative atos had I've been to tribunal 5 times 2 esa 3 disability and pip the last judge said straight away I'm awarding you back your benefits and said she can't believe how many times I've been up for the same thing, the stress and hardship appealing makes you wanna give up life and I know it's gonna happen again I wonder how much all the 5 tribunals cost
Ahhhh of course, benefits are only for people not from this country…not for who have paid into the system…what a disgrace
because tackling benefits fraud is not a vote winner when the recipients of benefits can vote against any government.
People think its easy to claim benefits no its not,you have to fill in many forms then interviews then god know how long before you get money then you go to the housing and fill in more forms and interview etc
It's gone on from the start of time the powerful attacking the powerless
funny when we send billions in foreign aid to china and India just for two examples, didnt India just land on the moon and planning more space exploration? and China lol
Disability benefit is a easy picking makes them look good while there paying millions and millions of pounds for people coming in on the boats
Will be the genuine ill that will pay the price again
As always!
I cannot understand how these people are able to scam the system. I have to work full time despite two serious auto immune diseases and a mental health condition. I am in my sixties. My son who also has a serious auto immune disease and has been in intensive care twice during a flare, has to work full time despite consultants writing to say he should only work part time. I don't feel as if I could get any government help whatsoever as my illness is not consistent and changes day to day. I constantly fear that my son will wind up in intensive care again, or worse!
well make sure your hate is directed at the government and not the people who managed to get on this total sham of a system. i feel for the people truly suffering and the DWP just palm them off, an absolute joke they are.
i dodnt think any of these ppl making thes laws have actually been through the test its actually set up to fail ppl you have to be almost dying to pass
Fact is there's to many "illnesses" you can be signed off for, and as for anxiety well give you 3 months off then you can go back
I agree, anxiety, stress and depression need to be eventually looked at. You cannot state cos you have these conditions that you can never work. People need to read up and implement and put structures and coping mechanisms in place in order to cope with lifes difficulties and challenges. Lets face it if a obese person was told she was not working cos of being fat and tired people would tell them to lose weight and find health benefits that would enable you to return to the workforce not right yourself off as unemployable for years and years. I cannot believe that 15/16 hrs out of a whole week is impossible and yet still give you the rest of the days to rest.
you had anxiety, or a proper panic attack? most people call an ambulence believing they are dying during one.
