    Hello sir. First of all, thank you for the amazing videos you make. I have a question. Let's imagine that we are lifting with the traverse in this video. Let the hole diameter be 24mm. (holes at the bottom of the traverse). Let's assume that we use the cylinder(Ø20) . And let's imagine that we attach weight through these cylinders. The question is, we have the 24mm hole diameter but we use Ø20 cylinder for lifting operation. How many pieces of point mass do we need to select to the hole diameter? Is it half the hole diameter like in this video? To summarize, in the video we chose a piece half the diameter of the hole for the point of mass. Should we choose half the hole diameter for every 90 degree lift? Otherwise, what should be the diameter of the part contacting the hole diameter?

      We do not have similar tutorial on solid work simulation but we do have few other simulation in solid work software. ruclips.net/p/PL3YYYtsmbXgcTD1380fuMkC_jSZYlpN93

    hi, whats is the different if we use fixed support on lifting eye rather than if we use remote displacement. Thanks in advance. your video is amazing

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  2 года назад

      You can do both the way either by fixed support or by remote displacement. When you are looking to analyze lifting eye it is better to use remote displacement, as fixed support case will not show stresses; while remote displacement case will show stresses and deformation.

    Can u prepare one video on how to import mesh geometry (model) from hypermesh to ANSYS WORKBENCH.

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  3 года назад

      Its it as same as importing cdb file in workbench. Refer this video, ruclips.net/video/XSYRnEfPMqA/видео.html.
      We will do separate video for HM too.

    Hi, Would you be able to do some calculations by hand to see if you get the same answer as the simulation?

    • @graspengineering9249
      @graspengineering9249  2 года назад

      Yes you can do analytical calculations. The simple way is to match the reaction of the beam model with geometry weight.

    Hi,first of all thank you very much for the amazing videos you make!You mentioned here in this video, that it is possible to download the geometry file from the website. Is it still available there? Because I could not find it.

    Good job but I'm having a difficult time understanding your presentation with your heavy accent. Also what program are you using? I am looking for a tutorial for lifting beam in Autodesk Inventor.

      Hi.. We are using ANSYS software . Autodesk also have analysis capabilities, you can follow the same steps to analyze with autodesk too.
